Wow, a team that never performs in in X way then suddenly play great against City. Where do I recognize this pattern from?
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Which bit of his body did he actually challenge with? It wasn't his arms and it wasn't his legs.

The whole body which he shifted to try and give a sly nudge

You'll have to find me that bit in the laws of the game where "shifting your whole body" and "sly nudge" are fouls.

One can argue far more convincingly that it was a dive, which it was, and Kompany was moving to one side as he was trying to get out of the player's way.

We can't handle it when any two of Yaya, Nasri and Silva is missing. We can get away with one, but not two. Our game is built around how the three of em move the ball and we currently don't have an alternative and we're properly fucked.

That effort at the end of the half was fucking abject, utterly horrible.

As much use as an ashtray on a motorbike today. Get him off for Jovetic and give aguero some fucking support!

Has most assists in the city team. Go have a wobble.

To be fair arsenal are playing a great game closing down. Not sure how long they can keep this intensity up though

Giroud has been outstanding. Wasn't a great match to come back against a centre forward playing at that level. Come on Pellegrini get them playing in the second half.

A bit sick of the endless smallpassing game, who only Silva can unlock anyway.
Get some balls in the box please. Komps been terrible, cant remember to have seen him that bad ever. Must be a bit rusty..
Maybe Mangala should played after all.

We look rubbish today.

I'm not clever enough to know what our problem is but we can't pass three passes together today.

tbf, no one has done anything. only the Ferns, Demi, and Vinny have done anything for us going forward. thats cuz the ball is just being shifted around in the middle.

Perhaps we have been poor moving the ball because they have been like flies at shit.

Their shape has taken silva and aguero completely out of the game

true .... He certainly dives well ! just dived into the back of Zabbs ... no foul ! and does a swallow as he starts to lose the ball against Vince. Vince gets a card .. and Mike " I'm so important, so get the cameras on me " Dean, falls for it again.

Come on, we are gifting this to them at the moment.

For me Fernandinho needs to do more going forward. He's got the ability to be creative but he needs to show it more. Mike Dean has fucked up on two big decisions so far. Can he please send off Koscielny and Ramsey in the second half. Jovetic must come on for Milner. Please don't wait for 60 minutes.

It's as simple as we don't have the players to play our normal game when we're missing our key attacking players. Milner and Fernando don't move the ball anywhere near as intelligently as Nasri and Yaya. We need to learn how to play a different way when we haven't got them.

One thing we need to do immediately is increase the tempo and intensity.
