Are you sure, he seems to be only rotating in certain areas. Terry, Cahill, Ivanovich, Hazard etc seem to play every game.

Yes a lot of players there playing week in week out. Fatigue will come into it at some stage.

Was pleased to see Matic being so poor for the first time, murdered by the pace of Stirling and Coutino. Give Brenda credit, he's found a system that works and got something out of Can Sakho Markovich and the left back which looked impossible 2 months ago.. As we hoped, Chelsea vulnerable to being pressed at pace. Can we deliver that?

I dont think Terry, Hazard, Costa, Fabregas will play this weekend

Luis will have to, maybe Ivanovic too. Schurrle, Zouma, and Mikel will come in. Remy and/or Drogba as well
But Azpilicueta will likely be back for our match so Luis playing again doesnt really matter

I forgot that the Liverpool-Chelsea replay was tomorrow. Thats nice. Hopefully Jose is so embarrassed by the Bradford result that he fields a full strength squad tomorrow

First of all we need the football gods to shine on us for once, and we want Chelsea to go through but only after a mammoth struggle involving extra time and pens - principal reason being we are due to play Liverpool on Cap One Final day and the Thursday before they are playing in the Eurpoa Lge away at Besiktas so its a great time to catch them.

However we could do with a couple of key Chelsea injuries or sendings off here - Im not wishing severe injury, just enough to keep them out at the weekend and level it up with all the crap we've suffered to Silva, Kompany, Nasri, Aguero and Dzeko (Jovetic injuries don't count as hes permanently bloody injured). Fabregas, Matic, Terry, Hazard and Costa are the key 5 players - football gods, go to work for us please.

Wasn't the first leg of this on a Tuesday night? Usually that means the second leg is on a Wednesday does it not?

That's the first time I can recall that happening. I was glad that they played Tuesday last week in the belief it would be Wednesday and a day less rest this week.

Both ties are still obviously to play for. I suspect Chelsea will react to losing to Bradford against Liverpool this evening. I fancy Chelsea to win through 1-0.

In the other tie between Tottenham and Sheffield United I see Tottenham winning through by a couple tomorrow. Yes Sheffield United were well organised and compact at WHL last week but they hardly threatened Tottenham's goal.

Unless Gerrard plays, then you'll win 2-0.

Basically full strength lineup for Chelsea with Azpilicueta on the bench after coming back from injury:

Courtois
Ivanovic Zouma Terry Luis
Matic Fabregas
Willian Oscar Hazard
Costa

I wonder if any of them are close to a yellow card suspension

I would never hope for anything bad to happen to players on the pitch but if there happened to be an electrical storm and everyone of the cunts got turned to cinders, I wouldn't be too concerned as long as Maureen & Brenda got it first.

I know I was thinking exactly the same ... but obviously FA has not one but two darlings in Brenda and Moaninhio to keep them happy and obviously have fucked Spurs and Sheffield over as both of them had one day less to weekend last week and same again this week.

My wish for tonight ...

Matic, Hazard, Febregas and Costa ... one of these four to go away injured (enough to miss weekend) and one to get a RED ... that'll do us good, any two of these four out will be great.

... and my wish for tomorrow night ...

Ivory Coast to miss out on QFs of that African cup of nations and Yaya and Bony be flown back tomorrow night itself, right after their game.

The above two happen and only then will I feel a little comfortable going into Saturday's game ... oh, and an early RED for Chelsea in first ten minutes will even the two teams out, back to 11 a piece (as they obviously will be starting with 12 on the field, with Clattenburg named as ref).

The yellow suspensions were for 5 yellows (which got cleared end of December), now it's at 10, so the same count continues but needs to get to 10 yellows in all for another suspension (and this too gets cleared I think April, just before the final few games in May).
