In the last year Chelsea have sold four players they didn't want for 140 million. Mata Lukaku Luis and now Schurrle. Not bad business.

Not easy to understand why those players fetched the money they did. Squirrel more understandable than the others I think.

I wouldn't want him at City as I don't think he's owt special, but I actually prefer them not to have him. Quasimodo is a very good player, but he is similar to what they already have. If you stop one, you have a fair chance of also stopping the other. Squirrel gives them a different kind of threat & sneaks into areas the others don't.

Levy prepared to subsidise Adebayor's wages on loan but not if he goes to West Ham who is regarded as a rival for european places. Doesn't look as though he'll blink.

Read somewhere that Arry commented that "its proving incredibly difficuly to get Adebayor in" - as some wag pointed out, just wait till you try and get him out, that's almost impossible.

Haha I've just watched his "wonder goal" whilst playing for Plymouth. He basically just rang in a straight line and no one bothered to tackle him. Are the rags really this desperate?!

Hey, if you'd just paid a world record fee for a left back, the obvious thing is to sign a league two bound loanee isn't it?

I briefly switched on tshite whilst I was doing a spot of cooking, & Gough plus Durham were waxing lyrical over the wonderful past of Darren Fletcher; " I wonder if Utd fans will be a bit upset about him leaving.." "No" says Utd fan.

"You could do with a player like that....pass the ball around..." "Yes but not to the other side".

Basically rag said what most of us have been saying for years; people like Cleverley, Fletcher, Wellbeck aren't good enough.

Of course when we said it, we were just jealous/bitter.
