Crouch was part of the play and beat the defenders to the ball due to standing in an offside position when the shot was made.

If you're not right, it means you can park one player at the goalie and just wait for someone to shoot and create a rebound, right? Or am I completely misunderstanding your discussion?

From my dodgy joan I made out that he headed it and it touched his arm slightly as it was going in. Didn't look like he pushed it in or controlled the ball in any way with his arm.
