Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

FA Cup Weekend - 5th Round/Other Games | 14-16 Feb 15

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Feb 14, 2015 3:56 pm

Whoops, with this weekend being an off day for us I thought I'd get to practice my swing and forgot there were games on today. Others could oblige though.

Anyway, if anybody is interested, 1 game over, 2 at half time and one still to come. Looks like BFS hopes of a first trophy is over after a thrashing by West Brom and Stoke will be hoping to get something from the 2nd half to give them a chance of another Wembley appearance.

I'd like to see Reading get through as I used to go and watch them with my mate when I was working in London but I can't say the same for either Palace or the Dippers. Can't stand either of their managers but if anything I'd plump for Palace due to their entertaining fans and the opposite for the Dippers who are just complete wank-stains.

As for the rest of the games, fuck the Arse and fuck the Rags, that's all I've got to say!

Today

West Brom 4 - 0 West Ham FT
Blackburn 1 - 1 Stoke L
Derby 0 - 0 Reading L
Crystal Palace v Liverpool 17:30

Sunday

Aston Villa v Leicester 12:30
Bradford v Sunderland 14:30
Arsenal v Middlesbrough 16:00

Monday

Preston v Scum 19:45

Hughesy won't be happy, 4-1 now, and Derby pull it back after having a man sent off.

Part of our history pal, I could even summon up some sentiment for Alan Ball and Peter Swales ;-)

Some big scores in the Championship. Bolton losing 4-3against Watford and Forsest taking the lead, 4-3, against Blackpool who are down to 9 men.

Fuck, 4-4 now at Bloomfield.

Unbelievable! The dippers have over 70% possession and 16 shots to 2 against Palace yet Palace are a goal up from 2 on target.

Surely the ref must sort this shit out!

Is Owen a complete moron, suggesting that it wasn't a foul by Liverpool?

Dippers fully deserved victory tbh. With Sturridge back they look a half decent team again.

I'm still fuming we threw this cup away.

and what makes it worse is that realistically one arse or liverpool or rags will win it and I can't decide which is the lesser evil of those. whingerwenger & their stupid fans, rodgers and their victims or rags. ugh.

We've thrown 3 possible FA Cups in the last 3 seasons. Literally, thrown them. The Wigan farce still leaves me bitter. Then Wigan again when the domestic treble was on. Then Boro.

Loads of empty seat porn for watching Utd fans with a whole top tier empty. It will make their day.

I've had this bookmarked for years and check it at the start of most days. Lists all games on Sky/Terrestial that day.

Sickening that we fucked this up this season. This was our best chance of glory. And there are some awful sides left in it.
You just know the filth will win it or Stevie Meeeeee on his last game. Vomit inducing.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.
