He brings the game into misconduct in just about every interview but it shows how much the English game has changed that his pathetic behaviour is seen as being one of the reasons that there was a record fee paid for TV rights this week. The real reason for this high price was because two rival companies had to make sure they didn't lose market share rather than the product being any more marketable.

They are never going to do that, he pretty much writes the stories for them.

We might not like him, we may know he talks shite, but ignore the interesting manager of the present League leaders? Are you serious?

Well you can't even choose one.

don't worry, when i start watching baseball or something I'll make sure to A.) check to team's financials and find the worst one and B.) check their wins-losses record and find the worst ratio. when i find a club that meets both of those criteria i'll choose that one to support. that way, i won't be accused of being a plastic fan.

If you think about it, it's a win-win, just save your allegiance until the game finishes.

I've always thought that a fan doesn't actually choose a side to support, unless he/she actually lives in that locality and/or it's a family/generational thing.

If you live further afield, in some mystifying obscure way, the team actually chooses you and this has nothing to do with financials, practicalities, success, history etc.etc. but, instead, it's just something in the ether, at a certain point in time, which captures your heart forever.

Silly me, I've obviously been misguided all these years of my life.

Mmmm

This decision might have become a little more difficult at the moment.

I've just noticed that Dortmund have moved off the bottom of the Bundesliga and are now third from bottom instead. They're obviously on a roll and 'on fire', so Phips could now find himself in a real quandry.

Christ you dogs are relentless. I have a team I support in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Scotland, Belgium, US, Argentina, Brazil, of course Australia and probably a couple of other places.

We're here to talk City and football in general. You don't like Phip's posts, block him.

Sorry to get dragged into this, but surely you can only 'support' one club and like/follow the rest?

I know I certainly don't have time in my life to actively support more than one club. Not sure how it's feasible?

Anyone else want to confess?

I have a load of clubs I follow the results of, for various reasons. But as you correctly point out, I couldn't count it as 'supporting'
I used to go and watch Rochdale occasionally but not for some time. That would be the closest.

I'm with you on this, I honestly don't have enough time in a week for another team in any sport.

I might like watching the Flyers or the WCE, but I'd never call myself a supporter of them.

Appreciate those that shat early and warmly please. I hate competition.

Also you probably aren't a complete asshole so just take a deep breath and be normal. This is just a football message board. Nothing to prove here for anyone. It's for information and entertainment. Pick one with every post and you can seem human again.
