Where I was sat, which is not far from level with the edge of the penalty box at the North stand end, I could hear occasional busts of singing from the South stand end ( when they bothered, mainly for 1st 20 mins of each half). People in the North stand were joining in.

I think this is due to the new stand roof starting to appear. It's early days, but I think it's going to improve the atmosphere. It feels like the same ground, rather than outside. Now, if the people stood up in there can sing for 70 of the 90 mins rather than 40 or less, we may start to get the rest of the ground going as well. Even some of the dead people near me may join in.

Well that's more like it! Great performance and who was that new guy wearing Edin's shirt? Cheered me up no end that, now I'm really looking forward to hearing Maureen complaining that everyone is out to get Chelsea and Butthead explaining why the rags are still the best team in the league, especially if Southampton win tomorrow to push them down another place.
