I've heard from people who grew up and live near him that he is the most likely ref to be involved in "influencing" games, due to his very "questionable character" and the fact that he's a flash cunt who loves the dough.

So, he isn't being bent because he loves the rags, or the dippers etc.
But no one is that "shit".

I've got my own suspicions after the game he refereed with Chelsea and the rags after he was obviously banished by fergie. I actually said to a friend before the game that he would do something in that game incredibly controversial in favour of united, and of course he obliged with two of the most ridiculous sendings off I've ever seen.

However, my take on that is that its the system that's corrupted him there, in that he knows that unless he does certain things, he will not referee another united game for x amount of time, which as the biggest club and highest profile games means that he is unlikely to make it into the UEFA or FIFA lists. Nobody even needs to speak for that sort of corruption to happen, it simply becomes a known fact that your career wont advance if you are banished from rag games for pissing baconface off. You can't really blame the referees for wanting to better themselves.
