With hte injuries mounting and the players off to Africa, we need to rest as many as possible. I would take a chance on Taylor, Vidal, Richards, Boyata, Silvinho, Weiss, Zabba, Garrido, Petrov, Robbi & if fit Benjani. You could load the bench with SWP, NDJ, GB, VK, RSC, CB & SG just in case.

We need to rest some players for Wednesday.

No way Bellamy will play, would imagine RSC will not start either to be kept back for Wednesday and so should Shauny.

We'll nick it 1-0 hopefully. Could do without a replay as the injuries and fixtures are piling up in January.

No point in playing Robinho, as he doesn't play away from home and a cold afternoon in Middlesbrough means that his attitude would be unlikely to change unfortunately.

Team would be:

--------------Given

Trippier Richards Kompany Garrido

Zabaleta De Jong Barry Petrov

----------Benjani Tevez

Just having a quick look what the Middlesbrough fans thought about the game, they think they have no chance in hell and after reading what they have said i think we could really bag a few goals on sat.

Indeed they think we're gonna hammer them, I personally rate it will be tight and we will win 3-1, the 3rd coming after we hit them on the counter.

Scorers: Tevez (2), Robinho
