When I played I never wanted to cheat my way to a win or get other players sent off. Is there that much riding on the game now they players resort to what we are seeing this evening. It's fucking shameful.

What you are referring to is sportsmanship and yes it's dead in professional football as long as managers like Maureen and Fergie are lauded.
