No Milner, even on the bench. Pellegrini hinted they were waiting for a reply and that the issue may not be money. I suspect he's off and although the issue may not be entirely money the prospect of a fat signing on fee is pretty tempting at this stage in his career. Can't entirely blame him.

When he scored his goal he was limping in his celebration so he's probably been ruled out as a precaution.

Milner's omission will be absolutely fuck all to do with the contract situation & everything to do with the fact that he has been carrying an injury, hence his lack of recent game time & the quite glaringly obvious limping around when he did get on last time.

For the non Sherlock Holmes types.

We underestimate Burnley at our peril. Yes, on paper, we should smash them, but football has a habit of biting teams on the ass who don't focus on the game in hand and give it their all. 3-1 City but a lot closer than the score suggests. Arsenal are now only one point behind, so if that isn't enough incentive to get three points, then nothing is

seriously. how not playing him if fit would benefit us at all, if he was off or not is beyond me. we need him to have a change at anything and to maintain 2nd, worst case.

we did, but i think we will not today. we are playing a very strong team. we cannot afford to not win.

burnely are playing 2 up front as well, so we could punish them for trying to match us.

ya think?

of course, if he has plays like a world class player today i have my doubts that you would recognise this, tbh.

he does need to perform well enough at a minimum that i will at least say.

We can only name 7 subs so with everyone fit we have to rest 3 big players
Today is the turn of Milner, kolarov and ferns do.

I don't read anything other than rotation and rest into it

I have this feeling we are about to fuck up the Bony situation.

Proven scorer in the league that will get in some typical weird form here.

Pellegrini hinted the delay in sorting things it was not about the details of his contract ie playing time. Personally I think it would be surprising if a signing on fee wouldn't weigh in the balance. He also said no one was injured in his Press Conference yesterday for Dr Watson types!
