Your in or out, I wonder how many are talking to Txiki behind the managers back again ? No unity, no desire no chance. That performance was a public nailing of the manager. We are back where we were 2 years ago, players tossing off another season. Manager sacked. Time for someone to grab the nettle and sort the players out, it Should never have got to this again. A manager any manager needs supporting when faced with a bunch of cunts like we have. This board was split into Mancini haters all his fault, sorry we are here again.. Whichever way you cut it.

there's no excuse for losing to burnley, it's not the formation, it's not instructions ... it's players all deciding to have an off day at the same time. If even one of our stars were "on" we'd have too much for burnley to stop us. Instead we get that tepid performance.
Peller's may have had trouble motivating the players, but I don't really get that. I've obviously never been a professional player, but I've played at relative high levels in school / university across several sports, and if you are down the stretch fighting for a title you go out and FUCKING FIGHT FOR IT. I would have never needed a coach or manager to get me hyped up, I wouldn't want to hear a word from them ... I'd have all the motivation i needed from the get go. There are few players I see that lay it on the line when the chips are down this season.
Sounds like a cliche, but seems pretty accurate to me.

If the players need motivating then the players need to go, not the manager.

I feel sorry for every Blue that went to Burnley - and not because of the pie shortage.

What we need is a good passer in midfield(kroos or fabregas) and a better starting calibre version of navas(reus maybe?)
In hindsight, why did we buy fernando. It seemed logical at that time to add some defence in midfield. But we have no intention of defending at all do we. Would we have been better served to just get a specialised creator instead? A midfield trio of kroos toure and dinho? I mean a fernando would not fare much btr than a fernandinho in a 2v1 situation

Burnley must have been pissing their sides. No offence to them but they had championship defenders who will gobble up long balls all day long. The amount of times we just went route one with zero affect on the game was an embarrassment. If I was playing against City I would say let Kompany or Hart have the ball as we will get it back as soon as they kick it long, you would be guaranteed that it either hit the CH on the head or goes out of play.
