Wait, are we asking for 442 again now?

It's not like Yaya is contributing defensively anyway.

Typical City, playing better after half time and a goal down.

I can't think of a single save that wasn't routine or dumb luck.

Far worse culprits for why we are a goal down in my view. The saves may have been routine or lucky but he has made them. That's all you can ask of a goalkeeper in this situation

He kicked a goal kick straight off the pitch, that instantly makes him shit as it's inexcusable for a keeper paid £100k a week to not be able to kick a dead ball correctly.

A great example of our defincies just then. Sagna makes a great block, the ball comes to Navas who has 5 Barca players ahead of him and 10 city players behind him. How can we expect to score when we haven't got the energy/desire to get forward?

This game proves the theory that it's the players. They look knackered, slow and they're a bunch of bottling cunts. We definitely need several new sets of younger legs who don't look like a bunch of geriatrics on a day trip.

I'd rather play some of the kids. At least their attitudes would be better

True, but he is a body in the middle, atleast making it more congested. Would'nt Yaya off and lampard or something on be better? We have been complaining about 442 being too weak in europe.. see no reason to change our minds now that they are all over us.

He has had terrible distribution for years, noone wanted him out of the club last season or the one before..

Of course high quality technique is important but it's not enough, not remotely. We need a hard working athletic midfield. We haven't remotely got one. Even against Burnley you have to earn the right to play. Getting in Pogba would be a damn good start.
