I hope he's not part owned by A B and C.... If PSG are prepared to take on Yaya I'd be in favour. We must not lose Pogba to the scum or Chelsea....

I'm stressed out enough as it is at the moment but this will be the end of me. I refuse to believe it, but if he does leave I might do a Phips and support whoever he goes to. Haven't decided yet.

I just wonder how paying out a not-insignificant amount of cash for a new left back, if Kolarov does go, would conflict with Pellegrini's stated desire for another 'stellar' player in the side.

Just say, hypothetically, we decided to try and sign Gareth Bale (or someone of his ilk) in the summer, it would probably mean that we'd either have to promote from the Academy, or get another 30+, short term defender on a free transfer, as any outlay on other players would/could jeopardise this putative hope.

Mind you, given the ramifications of Pellegrini's situation, the 'powers that be' might not countenance any such massive spending this summer in any event and, in such circumstances, it would seem that the logical option is to start drawing upon youngsters from the Academy.

All logical considerations aside, however, I wouldn't be surprised if Kolarov was still with us next season.

The front row 'hard men' of the East Stand will love that if they've still got him there to abuse all match.

After Porto have paid off the third party owners to get the full player registration they will probably have enough left for a new shed.
(And some people think it's a good idea to have so much money leaving the game).

I don't like the look of either Willems or Kurzawa defensively. In fact, when I've watched them they have been worse than Kolarov. Miles better going forward; faster, trickier & can cross. Willems has produced some fantastic crosses. But if they defend for City, like they do for their own teams...'danger, Will Robinson, danger!'.

I'd like to hope that Angelino is on the agenda, but it could be that they see him as the future replacement for Clichy, rather than for Kolarov next season.

But a squad pairing of say Wilems plus Angelino, is not the most solid defensively imo. Both of course can improve.

Kurzawa defends well in a deep block and plays in the best defensive unit in Europe. You don't know what you're talking about.

Personally if we lose Kolarov I don't see it as a problem. Clichy would stay number 1 for the position and we have the experienced Sagna who could fill in easily and then Angelino as the other option.I just don't see spending £20M as necessary.

Sagna is not worth his place in our first team and imo ,barely makes it as second choice.

We do need to spend and we will spend.

Stressful, right?

I would like to ship the entirety of the BozSpaz crew to Italia.

Va bene.
