For 32 million it shouldn't be. And the price we paid for Fernandinho was extraordinary.

No pain no gain, we have to swallow this, get 4th and take our medicine. I just pray we have an owner who along with Khaldoon want this to be a blip.

We don't decide the transfer market. Top rated players are expensive & will become moreso.

Pogba isn't worth half what he will cost somebody.

The new manager will not make the same mistake.

A top rated player, fucking come on!

Mmmmm, I wonder who the other bidder was for Mangala?

Exactly this (to ted) Who is this magical cb we were to sign? Come up with another target someone. Benatia's name was in the mix but he is older and we wanted to go you ger and bayern wanted him. Repeatedly fans uttered concern over out lack of pace at the back so Mangala met that criteria and was seen as having the potential and willing to sign, even though he said he preferred chealsea.

Thats why we overpay for top targets. We have leas options so selling clubs know this. Also this 40 mil number is not the reported fee which i believe was 32 mil. 40 includes wages so i guess di maria is 75 mil or something like that.

The transfer market is a sellers market when top clubs want someone and we are not a top choice so we will overpay until we are seem as more glamourous.

If Chelsea wanted him they would've succeeded, just like any other player we've been after.

He wasn't even a fully fledged international player yet was apparently worth 32 million, the most expensive CB in the PL. Don't get me wrong, he may make it but why are we paying that for a prospect?

I like Fernandinho but for over 30 mil and a seasons worth then that's not good business. Jovetic was always prone to injury and after that there's not too much to talk about. Negredo worked but not for long, Fernando is just what it is, a cheap replacement, same as Navas.

If we were aware that these players were part of the short-term plan, money no object, and we had better in the pipeline then we could probably take it as we won a double but when you are looking long-term then they just seem to alter all thoughts of 'The Pinch'.

I don't actually want anybody sacked but let's face it, Txiki and Pellers have got a lot to answer for, even if they do pull off an amazing end to the season.

We've regressed.

He was a top rated player who top clubs were interested in. That's why he cost a lot of money. Believe what you like.

I suppose if we sign Pogba & he struggles, it will turn out nobody wanted him either.

Think off the pitch they have done wonderfully well.. time will tell. Fact is since being evens with Chelsea in Dec and Jan.. we have flunked it at best. Down to the manager this time.

Just two month back before Barca match everyone was worried about Barcelona snatching Tixi, Soriano and Pellegrini. This is just second season under Pellegrini, a manager who has won the league in his first attempt. I know we are pathetic right now, but I am not supporting the trio but I am not ready to flog them off yet definitely not Tiki and Soriano.

Now everyone think rags, arse and chelski are playing good, but probably its just that they have hold on long enough to get through the rough patches. Note I am talking about the managers and management not their team players.
