The Fellani goal was a very tight offside call, but agreed he was offside. How the assistant failed to flag Mata's blatant offside was a disgrace. It's no wonder Ferguson is against extending video reviews in the game. He has specialized in influencing officials, throughout his career. It frustrates me how MP gives the officials such an easy time for blatant incompetence. Close calls frequently decide games. IMO the sooner they bring in video reviews to assist officials with goals and penalties the better.

Felt to me fm the off that we were going to be had over, however we played.

And in the first derby at the etihad 3 blatant pens weren't given which could have made the final scoreline even better than the 6-1 yet the lucky twats finished 0-1 and gave the false impression that it was a tight game. We were poor yesterday but if the ref had got those offside calls right who know how the final score might have turned out?

Very true but we'll never know now. Those calls do have an effect, just like the longball from the donut thief that got the equaliser. When you've got a team that are short of confidence, especially the defence, it's no wonder their heads go down when they're not too confident with the system as well.

During the game I thought some of the calls were very strange but you just think they'll be the same for both sides. The further it went on the more it became obvious that Clattenburg and his lino's had become homers. I even had to pop into work during half-time and stuck the radio on in the car and both of the commentators were flabbergasted that Jones didn't get a yellow for going through on Milner, given the previous yellows. Didn't see it personally so cannot comment but it did seem as if their were 2 sets of regulations going on.

And then RatBoy confounds everything by coming out with the pure genius that this thread was started on. Him and Tyler must've been doing high fives with one hand whilst wanking each other with the other.

Jones should definitely have had a yellow card for the foul on Milner but having said that Vinny should've seen a red for his challenge just before half time. Overall though the rags got the majority of the decisions - perhaps twattenburg was trying to atone for the last derby he reffed at the swamp

I think Vinnie's was 50/50 and we wouldn't have complained if he had given a red but for the rest to be let go became a bit of a joke. I'm sure Bog Brush did his usual lead with his arm again as well, without even a 2nd glance from the ref.

What made me laugh was a scene in the first half when Clattenburg gave a freekick to the Rags and he turned around, big smile, as if to say to the defender 'Why thank you Sir' when the Rags complemented him on the decision. It was like he'd just jizzed his pants.

No way was that a red for Kompany. You see those tackles every weekend. If he'd given him a red I'd have headbutted a wall!! Plus there's not a chance in hell he'd have sent Kompany off. He's sent him off loads already.

Did you see his 'Ground control to Major Tom' moment on the mic?

If anyone sees the cunt crossing a road, run over his foot & tell him it doesn't matter as his leg was on the edge of being under the wheel & you can't be expected to see it.

The one that wound me up was Smalling with a handful of Toures shirt right in front of him. Not even a free kick whereas Milner does it and gets a yellow.

I think Kompany was very fortunate to stay on. Blinds foot is way off the ground and he caught him above the ankle.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

I reckon he'd have got the ball if his thigh muscle hadn't have tweaked. So in effect it'd have been sending him off for having his thigh muscle tweak?

The officials gave everything they could to the munes. Recently that hasn't mattered but this is the one-off where it did. Let them celebrate; they have waited long enough. But next time we play them, we'll get back to normal again and it won't matter a white dogshit which of their pet monkeys officiates.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

The thing people seem to forget about the 6-1 is that Twattenburg gave us fuck-all. He ignored a blatant penalty on Micah amongst many pro-scum decisions and I thought he was going to be physically sick when he realised that he had no option but to send Evans off.

I was watching the Australian A-League highlight on BT Sport this morning and in one of the matches (can't remember which one) the attacker was correctly given offside for having just one of his feet stood in offside position as the ball was played to him. I then wryly smiled and thought fuck me, how can our officials get it so wrong and these fellas get it right. And all in real time!!
