If the old cunt is worried about trusting Barker, due to him being a flair player, Angelino is a talented attacking player who would give a very solid, hard working option when we lost the ball.

I actually think Angelino would do a better job than Milner on the left. Honestly believe that.

Then you are 100% fucking stupid.

And you're 100% a cunt.

Milner has offered nothing of late. Angelino I think would do a great job on the left. Bit cautious at first, yes, but he'd grow into it very well.

I think it's unfair to say Milner has offered nothing of late when it was his clever pass to Silva that set up the first goal on Sunday at the swamp. Is Milner a true attacking payer down the left , no and I agree Angelino would be and I would be delighted to see him given a go there.

The thing with Milner is he can do a job for you anywhere and he has some magnificent games but where is his best position? In the past it's been suggested it's in the centre. I really don't know but it does seem that when he has been used as the key central midfield player it hasn't worked.Stick him there as on of 3 in the middle and it's fine but really then he just plays all over the place.

Angelino would offer great energy, great attacking spirit and flair and I would say good quality down the left side. Definitely worth a try asap

Milner is a top player. Offered more than Silva has over the last few months. I can't stand this fucking delusion that our EDS players would just walk into the first team and displace fucking established, top class players like Milner, Nasri, Yaya etc. It's fucking imbecilic.

Milner is as good as gone though, IMO promote from within from hereon in to the end of the season. (obviously in those positions where we have players who can do a good job). Barker and Angelino come to mind immediately for Milner and Kolarov

Okay, I've exaggerated and ive been a bit harsh on Milner. He hasn't offered nowt and has had the odd good moment, I agree. But I subscribe to WW's theory - Milner's going. Lets forward think a little.

Antmcfc - seriously, how often do you watch the EDS or academy players? No one's suggesting they'll full on replace them now. Just suggesting give them the odd opportunity to start establishing themselves. It NEEDS to happen as many are better than you think. They're incredibly talented but that will go to waste if ignored.

The thing is, I get Ant's reservations. I really do. I see where's he's coming from but it's just a difference of opinion and there's no need for him to be so unnecessarily aggressive about it. He reminds me of that self righteous cunty one in Shaun of the Dead who gets narky and pissy about everything. The Irish bloke played by Dylan Moran. There's no need to be like that - just chill the fuck out.

I just don't think there's anything wrong with being enthusiastic with regards to the academy kids. It's based on watching them week in week out and based on fairly sound logic too. The EDS and youth teams outplay more or less everyone at their respective levels and at times, the u19s in particular, absolutely muller most teams with brilliant technical football. They destroy them. Then we see young lads from the oppo teams who had just been comprehensively outplayed popping up playing in the premiership for their respective first teams and not embarrassing themselves. Often doing good and adding to the team while gaining experience and saving the club a few quid in the transfer market. There was one guy who played for Schalke, got outplayed by our kids and then played v Real only weeks later and popped one in from twenty yards in the champions league! He was outshone by our lot!

Take Denayer and Lopes too - out on loan and they've become the best players at their respective clubs. That speaks volumes for their obvious clear talent, and then you consider Barker who has stepped in for Lopes this year and done just as well, if not better, than he did in his first EDS season and it's not exactly hard to comprehend why some people don't see it as some mental crazy leap that we are on to something exciting and potentially special. It's all pretty logical.

I'm not having it that a Villa team with Jack Grealish starting would all of sudden be able to beat us because we brought on Barker or Angelino (both better players than him potentially) for thirty minutes on the left. It makes fuck all sense, and you know what we might actually learn something and one of the kids might take to it like a duck to water and then we have another squad player FOR FREE. Piece of piss. If they don't give them more time with the kids or out on loan. No harm done. Lopes for what its worth has definitely excelled for Lille because he got a taster for our first team last season. That game against West Ham where he set up two was just what he needed to give him the right mental belief that he could do it. Invaluable really.

Great clubs get the balance right. No one is suggesting that Bryan is currently a better player than Fernando or that Barker is currently better than Milner as that is nonsense. What they are suggesting is that these kids have performed to an outstanding level at times this year and could quite quickly develop into something very exciting with the right level of easing in. That is 100% worth the risk.

Or maybe he's right and I am 100% stupid. Either way - chill the fuck out Ant and stop being a dick. Go and watch some academy games too. It'll restore your faith in football a little maybe too.

What kind of cunthole joins a City forum, a few weeks after Totti scores a vital CL goal against City, at home noless, and uses Totti as his profile pic?

Only one answer to that question.

Totti has been one of my favourite players throughout my life, I grew up watching him and Serie A and couldn't help but idolise him. To see him play at the Etihad was one of my most treasured nights, I loved every second of it. Sometimes, a general love for football is acceptable, and this was one of those nights for me. Football is my life and to see a legend of the game and one of the most iconic players of my generation cannot be ignored, I was well within my rights to use a picture of him as my avatar.

It is getting a little old now, though. Maybe I'll change to a Busquets or Yaya avatar.

It's strange but it wouldn't surprise me if he's telling the truth and he hasn't actually posted on here before. It's not the same guy, it just seems like exactly the same guy because they all post the same way, & then start with the unfunny fucking pictures etc & are basically just clones. Or could be described as 'assclones' perhaps for our American viewers ?

They seem like the same person but it's just that they are all the same kind of wanker who have the same kind of personality disorder. But they think they are 'special'. In a way, they are.

He has probably auditioned for Big Brother or some other show for special people.

Getting back on topic, I have wondered the very same thing. Not that I want pellegrini gone, not quite sure what I want. But I honestly cannot understand how khaldoon hasn't sacked him already. This is a worse series of results than either Leslie or Mancini ever produced and both of them were shown the door without much sympathy(okay Mancini had issues, but 2nd in the league and a cup final is better than maybe 4th and cup losses to boro and Newcastle).

Surely a caretaker can be brought in if we are planning on getting Klopp or Simeone in the summer. How about Andy Morrison? He'd scare the fuck out of these primadonnas and at least get them putting in a shift again.

If we do or don't replsce Pellers, I still think a summer clear out is needed. Too many times we've seen players ruling that dressingroom and there is only room for one dictator there.

The Hughes one was contrived though. They then had to wait til we had a bad day, as the team were playing really well & just got to a cup semi. We had a manager already lined up ready to go. That could be the case now, but said manager is not yet available.
