Coutinho.....really. Not a fan of Terry but he has had a great season along with Matic. Even Sergio should be on instead of him. 18 goals in a struggling team.

Kind of feel.sorry for the team who have had an outstanding season, yet have no nominees. Southampton.

To be fair Southampton have played well as a unit. Maybe Clyne is one who might have done enough but when Aguero who is joint leading scorer is not there then he can't really grumble. No doubt Mourinho will be fawned over for manager of the year

He deffo should be there.
The only reason he isn't there is that the people who make the choices don't actually watch the games, only the MOTD highlights.
Or they are blind.
Or just plain stupid.
Could be any of those three really

Or sometimes when Chelsea score, he hasn't touched the ball in the move, but for 30 mins they'd done fuck all, then Hazard gets the ball beats 3, almost scores, does it again almost sets up a goal, 3rd attack with the oppo defence suddenly chasing about nervously, Fabregas slips in Costa.
All engineered by Hazard changing the whole complexion of the game. We don't have a player like that except Aguero.
But we do in the reserves.

Yep. And not necessarily alone from the academy.
I also think the lesser spotted Kelechi Iheanacho will have that element about him one day if he is ever seen in public again.

Would it be too much to introduce 5/6 of them to the squad next year giving us the following:
Hart/Caballaro/Gunn
Zaba/Sagna Kompany/Mangala/Demi/Denayer Clichy/Angelino
Lopes/New Star winger example Reus, Fernando/Fern2/2 New star centre mids (pogba and X), Silva/Barker
Aguero/Bony/Iheanacho/New Striker or Dzecko
Means shifting alot out but would mean only splashing out on 3/4 actual players, too much?

I like the look of that :-)

I've also asked the question of those that know best (Ted/Doug/Twosips etc.), whether Maffeo is ready to throw into the mix as well. Financially it looks very doable, but getting players of the quality of Pogba, Reus, Isco? would very much depend on us getting Champs League next year.
As Wonderwall says, I very much like the look of that and I'd hazard a guess that it would satisfy a lot of the fans and rejuvenate them as much as the team.
The thoughts of a load of the youngsters getting a chance, gives me a feeling of hope again, and the expectancy over the Summer would be tremendous.
A great way of putting this season behind us.
I chose this to answer for my 1,000th post (I need to get a life), as it gives me an upbeat mood, which has been lacking of late.
