I know it's quite popular for our fans to suggest we missed on Hazard because of not paying off his dad, but I do think as you state, the lure of London and being the "main man" might have been what was up.
London may have its downsides, but the glamour of it is there. One thing Manchester can easily compete with vs. London is the cost of living whilst still being a city of great footballing tradition and passion.
Oscar, btw, has been nowhere near the hype he was to live up to since joining Chelsea, but that back heel for the goal was quite nice.
