Lawro and Degenerate predictions gameweek 35

Postby Wonderwall » Fri May 01, 2015 8:57 am

BBC Sport's football expert Mark Lawrenson is pitting his wits against a different guest each week this season.
Bill Wyman

Lawro's opponent for this weekend's Premier League fixtures is former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman.
Wyman is a Crystal Palace fan and first watched the Eagles with his father when they were in Division Three South.
He will be making his predictions on Friday (when he wakes up from his drug haze)

Not a lot of thought from Lawro, just usual blah blah. He still has not predicted us to lose this season!. (Attached is the Lawro league for you to see for yourselves)

Tottenham have tailed off a bit and their only win in their last four games came against Newcastle, who everyone beats at the moment.
Spurs' top-four hopes took a hit the same time as Liverpool and Southampton dipped too, probably much to the relief of Manchester City because they were wobbling at the time.
City have not been too convincing either, although they have won their last two games to make sure of a top-four place. Their aim now must be to try to remain unbeaten until the end of the season.
Lawro's prediction: 1-2

Merson on the other hand, does not predict we will win and thinks Pellegrini is done for!

Both sides will go out and have a go for this one, making for an entertaining game.

I think the season has cost Manuel Pellegrini his job. If you're Manchester City, not winning the league, not winning any silverware with a team like that, you're in trouble.

Mauricio Pochettino, on the other hand, has done OK at Spurs so far. He fell across the team slightly, but has brought Kane in regularly, and introduced Ryan Mason into midfield.

But they need a few players, a few more of his own players to make them into the team he wants.

PAUL PREDICTS: 2-2

Well, they're both more positive about our result than I am.

Me too, I'm very much afraid.

Still, they might surprise us all.

Spuds defence is shit. Bony and Aguero up top with Silva floating backed up by the two ferns and we win simply by out scoring them. Can see goals for both sides, but we have better attacking options
