OK, so one of the executive comes out and says "we've had a poor season, we are very disappointed." Then what? Is that all it takes to make you feel better?

Eh ? Are you totally stupid ? Zabba blames the World Cup for the players piss poor efforts this season and Pellegrini,s fuck ups and you swallow it ? Think most of us who go to every home game would like some better answers to be very honest !!! Don't you worry yourself on the other side of the world though it won't seem too bad .

Read the quote from Zaba about the World Cup and it is obvious to anyone with half a brain that he was asked a direct question about whether he thinks the World Cup has affected the team physically. He gives an honest answer, he in no way offers it up as an excuse for our failings.

But he is using that as a part excuse , don't see Chelsea players or Barca players or any other top clubs players coming out with that bollocks to be fair !

Most of the people on here have already mentioned that Zaba badly needed a rest after doing Micah's job as well as his own last season & has come back from the World Cup looking completely, utterly, fucked.

Why that whinging sod is arguing against that or what fucking difference it makes to that fact if one or two players from other teams have coped better, God knows.

It affected Zaba & Fernandinho badly. That is obvious for a start.

He says I'm tired from the World Cup and so are others ( in a round about way ) it's like David Cameron coming up with a load of bollocks on his failings with the NHS . Maureen has basically used the SAME 13 or 14 players this season with no rotation , they have won the double because they kept going for the cause , no fucking bullshit excuses . It's like the club are trying to hoodwink the fans on why we have been so poor with shit like this , Yaya still picking up his quarter million every week blah blah ...... there should be no excuses but that's where we are right now , will be glad to see the back of 3 or 4 players this summer who have contributed fuck all this season and whether Pellegrini keeps his job is open to debate because he has had a poor season but how much has player power contributed to that ???? Good to hear Zabba defending the manager so we can all read into that however we want I suppose .

I'm fucking tired watching them play shit . Zabba may be tired but he has been rested loads this season because of his loss of form so how the fuck can he still be tired ffs ??? Yes he has been immense and a warrior for us , awesome player but I wish the club would stop the bullshit !

I can take finishing wherever in the table and exiting the cups; if the class players actually give a sh1t. If they put more effort in; we win more games. Its that simple. I don't get why they don't realise this?

But to be fair hes calling out ''big players who haven't performed'' and also maybe feeling his position is under threat in the summer...

'We must be honest with ourselves and recognise that it was not our best season'

Is he?

but he goes on to say that other 'massive clubs such as Liverpool, arsenal, united are also shit. we cannot win the title every year'.

Well when we clearly have the best 11 in the prem and all those other teams are woeful, even argueably Chelsea, we should be putting more effort in that the shower that has produced.

Fernie and zaba are both knackered it is clear. Fernie has still been head and shoulders above ALL other midfield players, so go figure.

Also read stats that Milner has barely played 90 mins this season and has still covered more ground than anyone. We need to sign him up and shift the wasters out.

I don't believe we clearly have the best XI, it's arguable for sure but definitely not clear.

I don't think agueros been fit all season either. Silva looks like the walking dead at times. nasris too busy licking hot clits. Joe Hart's just Joe Hart and Vinnnie has been shambolic.

Sadly Copa America will ensure that Fern, zabba and aguero stay fucked for next season too.

We need cover in those roles big time or else next season will be a repeat of this one. Some young legs, some challenges to pep, no pun, these old bastards up and get them out of their wheelchairs and we will be back to normal I feel.

Ultimately if this is a down year and a blip I'm the luckiest football fan in the world. Completely spoiled. And proud.

Dazbylicious. Someone call me a burger flipper to check me please.

Cheers

Aguero is hardly ever fit imo . When he is fit, he is two yards quicker than the player we are currently watching, & can shoot from distance. If he'd replayed those situations v Bayern last week, he wouldn't have been able to get away from their defenders. He is so good that he is still better than Costa, at 70%. And that's the Aguero we see most of the time at City.

We really need another world class player to lead the team to take the weight off him. Kompany is the same. Never fit. That's what's up with him imo.

Zaba has played every game as if he wants to win, & cost us quite a few of them. Same with Kompany.

He is obviously fucked, & has been all season. Anyone who hasn't noticed is basically blind. The question imo is whether that long season at City followed by the World Cup, followed by this season, has finished him. He was utterly fucked at the World Cup imo. Struggling to run.

If he does get a rest, will he come back as last season's Zaba or is the current player going to be his level from now on ?

Because if this Zaba is what we get for the rest of his career, much as I love the bloke, there is absolutely no way on Earth it's anywhere near good enough to play in our team. He's an absolute liability who has cost us god knows how many games.

We need at least something like the old Zaba back, or next season has to be his last.

Zaba and the other South Americans will be fucked over by the ridiculous post season tour and then the Copa America. Then if we come fourth it will shorten everyone's holiday. We must come third but we must also have fresh legs and energy as well as technique for the new season.

I think the tiredness is often more mental than physical. Getting to the final and losing must be hard to take, same for the Spanish players crashing out as Champions or the Brazilians being humiliated at home.
