Why, because he's an ex rag?

mainly as it has nothing to do with football in the slightest.
Still here.

Let's see. A footballer's wife passes away.

Nope. Nothing to do with football in the slightest.

Glad you posted the same thing in the 7-page-long Adam Johnson thread.

massively different. adam johnson played for us and sunderland were still playing him even though he was being charged...

There are thousands of footballers, i'm sure once or twice a year they lose loved ones, do we have a thread every time one of their relatives dies?

tragedy as it is, should have been posted in off topic.
Still here.

I don't think people would be posting that if one of our older generation ex players passed away...correct me if i'm wrong, obviously. But I do recall a few threads of that nature in recent years and don't ever recall one complaint about it being in this forum.

Avoiding clicking this thread cos I knew someone would be a prick about it.

Rip nobody should die that young, leaving kids behind is a real tragedy.

Personally, I don't give a fuck about the flappy lipped cunt, who spent the best part of 10 years being unfaithful to his wife.

However, as I'm sure many on here are, I'm a similar age to Rio and I don't know what the fuck I'd do if I lost my wife in similar circumstances in the prime of her life, and for that reason, it's touched a nerve for me. She's certainly not the first of my generation to lose a cancer battle, but high profile ones make the news, grab our attention and raise awareness

It's a tragic story, tragic because a young woman has gone far too soon, and now 3 poor kids will grow up without their mum.

That's not the equivalent of this post though is it mate? It would be if an ex-players wife passed away.

It has absolutely nothing to do with football, and people have shown respect. So instead of all of us arguing on here about it lets just leave it now because it's not going to do anyone any good throwing insults around at each other.

The guys actually specifically come out and asked just to be left to grieve.

Me too. It's the kids I feel sorry for. Cancer is the biggest piece of shit to have to deal with. From personal experience of having to deal with a loved one die of cancer it's something you never ever get over and will most likely affect you your whole life.
