Just shut up.You are writing absolute nonsense.

Which part is untrue ? He didn't fuck up twice v City or he didn't fuck up several times v Barca just so we can be clear where I'm talking nonsense ?

Stop this shit ,you wrote in generalisations about Boateng and then try to whittle it down to City and Barca.

Big games: City twice, Barca twice. Boateng directly responsible for goals. How many big challenges do Bayern realistically get in a season ? Was he really that great v Porto did you think ?

Porto vs Bayern , Alonso loses the ball , not Boateng.

I know that but he was hardly Bobby Moore in that game was he ? Or vs Dortmund ? Bayern tend to dominate games, but when decent teams get at their central defenders, all 3 of them tend to struggle like fuck. Benatia has dropped some right bollocks as well as that clown from Brazil.

Against Messi ??....which defender has ever made Messi look a cunt ???...I dotn like Boateng but it has obviously worked out well for him and Bayern over the years !!

How about the one where they have 3 defenders vs 3, the ball gets lumped forward and as the Barca player jumps with an unopposed header due to more dogshite defending, Boateng comes haring out trying too late to play offside leaving (Neymar ?) 1v1 with the keeper rather than just picking him up & defending ?

And it's not worked out badly for City over the years with Kompany has it ?

Ted Hughes wrote:I'm not convinced at all that City have 'confirmed' Mangala cost 42 mil. Not am I convinced on the fee we are supposed to have paid for Fernandinho, while we are at it.

I don't think City have told anybody how much they paid for either & it's the selling clubs who are coming up with the figures but nobody in the media has got the details. I think a deal may have been done with the other percentage owed to 3rd parties for Mangala. But 32 mil is too much for the Mangler anyway, just as 27 mil is too much for Luke Shaw & any money we might pay for Sterling or Barkley or Bale or Pogba or Koke or any other cunt we sign, who is wanted by several clubs, is going to be far too much.

That's how it is. We either pay up, or miss out.

We were not Mangala's first choice and I am also guessing the price was so high that other teams didn't want to take the risk of paying so much. He wanted to go to "London" so we didn't have too much leverage with Porto other than wages we could offer him, and maybe a chance at some more prestige being in the Premier League. Otherwise maybe he would have waited another season at Porto. Who knows?

We wanted a new centre half quite badly, had spent some time targeting him, and the options out there are/were limited for a world class potential player of his ability already.

We had to pay or get nothing close to these attributes from any others out there from what the club must have seen and were aware of was available.

I haven't watched much of Boateng, but from what I've seen, he is vastly overated and gets away with it. For example both times against us...

Don't know how he has a World Cup..

Well lets keep him then , lets watch him fuck up game after game after game till he costs us the lague again..like he did this season. (Anyone , and I mean fuckign anyone that has repeatedly fucked up like Kompany has in the other top teams around the world and the cunt would not even get a sniff of the playing surface , let alone the subs bench)

Never thought I'd see city fans defending Boateng. Now he was a shite cb. No bottle what so ever and fucked around with the ball at the back trying to look clever. If he wasn't german he'd be a nobody by now.

That's simply not true Carl. I've juet for instance pointed out 4 specific instances where Boateng hss helped lose Bayern Champions League games. That's just off the top of my head. If you then were to count every other blemish or mistake that cost a goal or perhaps that had to be rescued & judge him on that, you would get rid. Just as you would with both his partners, Piquet, all 3 of Real Madrid's cbs etc etc.

They have all made loads of mistakes as does Mangala, Demichelis, as did Lescott. They always will, whoever you sign. Kompany has had a poor season this time round. He hasn't been any worse than any cb in any top side in any of his other seasons though & sometimes has been the best around.

If he stays shit, and doesn't get it together & it costs us titles, then you let him go. Same if Mangala doesn't improve. You absolutely don't do that, at this stage because you risk giving away the best cb in the world if he gets his shit together.

The best teams want to sign Kompany. They will believe his form will improve & they will a be in for him if we make him available.

If you can 100% guarantee signing a player better than Kompany, you of course do it.

You would probably get a swap for just about any of the players mentioned.

Kompany has been consistently shit......why is that hard for you to get your head around ?.its not a fuckgn blip , its game after game and its costing us like it cost us this season.

I would sell him whilst we still can get decent money for him , same with YAYA ,although his stock has gone well down but better to do it now rather than wait.

Having said that , Pellers and City wont get rid of Kompany so its a worthless argument.

I agree he has been shit this season but absolutely not in other seasons. He has had some bad games here & there in previous years too, but no way on earth more of them in a season than Ramos or Pepe or any other cunt. This season he isn't good enough full stop.

All other seasons he has been, easily.

That should read is not was, my bad.

He didn't play there much as we could all see he was a liability. Unlike Kompany and Lescott whose fuck ups were weighed up against there often great moments and games or currently the managaler who has a lot of potential and the odd solid game to
Go with some good stats that help cancel out his moments of madness, boateng simply looked out of his depth here and anytime I've watched him he's ranged from having nothing to do, to being a fucking liability of epic proportions.

This is a terrific 'discussion' about awful centre-backs, particularly as the thread was supposed to be about the Manager of choice.

However, on this theme, Mangala was unbelievably bad against Swansea yesterday and if Pellegrini remains at City next season, surely even he won't be able to continue playing someone who doesn't seem able to do the simple things well.

I feel sorry for DeMichelis having to play alongside him.

Just watching his incredibly bad ball handling makes me shudder....when you see any player that plays for a top team in any league (Not scotland) , let alone a fucking 42 million pound player, that has time to trap a ball and boot it upfield for an attack ,but instead decides to boot it into touch , that tells you just how fuckign shit a player he is!! he does it at any given time , and before anyone says, well its best to play safe first and foremost...bolloks!! hes supposed to be a player that can trap a ball , get past a player and boot it upfield to another City player ffs !!!!

Hes fuckign shit.
