As long as we improve our game, the players follow Mancini's new tactics, we will win. I guarantee it.

There is of course the strong possibility that Fergie will field a very inexperienced team because that will be easier to defend than his (alleged) first team getting slammed.

That's a bit of a defeatist attitude.

In the words of Leslie The Great we need to "Push on". U*d's first team isn't all that now anyway.

I'm not too worried and will take the game as it comes. Mancio has pedigree when it comes to cup games whether it be as a player or manager. United are looking disjointed as I've said all season, and now they are getting found out more and more I can see them starting to lose ground in all competitions.

The likes of Rooney will be up for this one, but that doesn't mean the rest will.

PS. Just watching Taggarts PM interview and he's saying that it's a disgrace that there was only 5 minutes, slating the ref for it. Does anything change you sad git, get over it, LOOOOOOOOSSSSEEEEERRRRRRRRR!!!

And he starts to change his mind, bring it on!!!!

Several players were rested ahead of Wednesday’s Carling Cup semi-final against Manchester City, but this poor performance may force the boss to rethink his selection as United will not want to lose consecutive cup ties against local rivals.

“We have to get this result out of our system as quickly as possible,” added Sir Alex. “We have a semi-final on Wednesday and a lot of these players won’t be playing. You have to view this performance in the right light. We’ll make sure we’re ready for Wednesday now. We had a team in mind, but there will maybe be a few changes for that.”

That team may not include Nemanja Vidic, however, who pulled out of the starting line-up at the last minute against Leeds.

It was a disgrace that there was 5 minutes.

No injuries in the 2nd half, only 5 subs made.

How on earth did the ref come up with 5 minutes!?!?!?!

It's disgusting how ref's can get away with adding so much time on at OT everytime they're not winning. I'm not calling the refs cheats but surely the FA must notice that a pattern emerges at OT.

Wasn't there a study released not so long ago showing that there is more added time at OT when Utd aren't winning than at any other team's home ground?

the cheating fu#kers, thats been on the cards for sometime. They have been playing shit for most of this season and only now will things start to really change.
If we can beat them in both legs i can see alot of the scum fans starting to turn on Bacon face. They haven't had to deal with this for along time and they are so blinkered that they never truly believed it would happen, small minded pricks that cant see further than their fu#king noses.

It was dependant on how you looked at the stats. The reality was that if United weren't winning, they would get on average, an extra 30 or so seconds added time compared to anyone else. And I think if they were winning, it was 20 seconds less. Strange that ain't it?

We are much more of a team now than we were when we played them last and even then they had to cheat us to beat us....

There HAS to be a chant in there somewhere!

No fear whatsoever, they are a club in decline and it may be happening slowly but it is most definitely happening and won't be able to contain the likes of Tevez and Bellamy on Wednesday.

I laughed at the backpage of one of the rags over here today - apparrently we're going for Gatusso and are going to make him the richest footballer in the world on £250k a week! Besides the fact that it was clearly a load of bollox, my rag mate said to me "He can't get into the fucking Milan side regularly anymore, so he's certainly not good enough for city".

I just said to him "Say that again mate..." and he just told me to fuck off.

It was a beautiful moment.

Anyway, bring on the cunts - we're the next nail in their coffin, after which Milan should then follow suit which leaves the title....

Yeah its a total load of bollox mate - I just thought it was funny to hear a rag saying if he's not good enough for AC Milan then he certainly isn't good enough for Manchester City.

Oh how the times have changed.
