Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Ireland v England

Why ?

What is either side learning from this ? Would these people not be better off resting somewhere ?

They're gaining match sharpness for qualifiers next weekend.

Several could have been injured already in this game.

Seems to be a general lack of interest on here. Nobody set up a match day thread, so I said I'd start one.
Watching it on a Kodi Box. A very good link.
through Phoenix. Http://footy.ml I think.
More entertaining than I expected..
England definitely have the better quality throughout the park, but Ireland are actually trying to play more football than I expected.
Think we've had the better chances of the first half, but England have had more possession.
Competitive game. Not that many clear cut chances. A lot of soft fouls being given by the ref, for both sides, but all in all being played in a good spirit.

I didn't actually. I don't have ITV either, but can get it through Kodi.

Switched to an ITV link.
Better than watching Malaysian Ads.

Not worth it, the match will soon be over & nobody will remember either thread ever existed.

He's got something on his mind.
I think they sowed those roots too deep.

I imagine Liverpool fans seeing the mouthwatering link up between Henderson & Milner, will be wishing they had Phil Jones to form the other point of the triangle.

As long as we have O'Shea, you always have a chance.

Don't forget Adam 'the next Messi' Lallana.

We should sue Greg Dyke for forcing us to play any of these numpties.

I don't quite know what you can make of this, from an English perspective, but from an Irish one, I can see all the short comings that we all know we have. But they work hard and in fairness have tried to play more football than I expected.
We just don't have the quality, but they seem to get more out of the team than the sum of the parts.
The game means more to each FA than in any real football sense, but I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would.

Ireland hanging on now. Looking tired. Coleman has had a good game.
Walcott will come on and score.
