All done to make us look like we are the only ones spending big money, and as a ready made stick to beat us with if the player doesnt hit a double hat-trick every game. Rumour has it that the big wigs at City have realised how important he is for us and are due to offer him a new contract doubling his wages, even though he's only just signed a new one recently. I think he's then due to move upstairs and take a directors role once his playing time finishes.
