Sunday Times say Txiki inquired of Tia Maria's advisers whether he'd consider a move to the Etihad. Lots more talk about a mega bid for Pogba imminent and that we're not prepared to be outbid for he or De Bruyne. Express saying Arsenal and Real are also in for Sterling. Sounds like the dippers trying to put pressure on us. I think he's heading in our direction.

Hasn't he only just gone back to them so he's still probably got at least 3 years left anyway!

I see the press are up to their oh so predictable trick of rounding up all the costs of a fee, contract, plus add-ons and all other expenses when reporting how much City will pay for a player. All done to make us look like we are the only ones spending big money, and as a ready made stick to beat us with if the player doesnt hit a double hat-trick every game. Even if he does, with that sort of money its to be expected he will. Either way, same old shit.

Does anyone know the players that Tixi bought at Barca? All good and well bringing Xavi & Iniesta through & Messi as a kid, but what were the other signings like, because at the moment he's flattering to deceive. I don't have the confidence we'll sign anyone other than galacticos & most of us on here could do that!

The Star believe Manchester City may have to spend £155m to land Paul Pogba this summer. They say City will have to pay a British record fee of £80m with the Frenchman's wages taking the outlay past the £150m mark.

Meanwhile, the Mirror say City will pay out £150m in transfer fees alone this summer with deals for Pogba, Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne.

The Times are reporting City have entered the race to sign Angel Di Maria from Manchester United while the Mail believe City have told Roma they must pay £20m if they want to take Edin Dzeko to Serie A this summer.

Rumour has it that the big wigs at City have realised how important he is for us and are due to offer him a new contract doubling his wages, even though he's only just signed a new one recently. I think he's then due to move upstairs and take a directors role once his playing time finishes.

That's what I've heard anyway.

Hm. My mate's uncle works for a contractor that does some business with the club and he heard that the Yankees have a plan to install a 'defensive coach' at NYCFC next season and, if successful, at City the season after, in which case Kolarov has been earmarked for the job after his retirement.

Wouldn't surprise me if Barca or a top top team like that have already snapped him up by then

Amazing how they like to discuss their future plans with contractors.

Didn't we used to have a sticky of " my mate's Uncle" type rumours? We need more of them.
