Yaya's still a great player. His touch on the ball is phenomenal and that freekick, which spins off the crossbar, is wonderful, the way he got it up and down from so close.

He's gonna be a big part of our season, glad he's still here.

Sad fucking scousers showing up at a Man City vs Melbourne City game to boo Sterling.

Melbourne look a great team to play in preseason. Lots of passing and some ok players on the ball, good for fitness and mental sharpness

And not suprising at all, but Yaya best player on the field by far. Good omen for the new year

Strange to see Navas using his left foot.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Yaya and Navas showing up well. It's a pity Bony is not on the trip, we could do with a striker today.

Business as usual. A bucket full of chances squandered and vulnerable on the break.
You could argue we should be five up but at the same time should be one down. Remarkable miss
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

Of the kids I thought Maffeo was excellent. Initially a bit nervy up against their best player, but he had him after that. Such a tough little bastard, and a really natural defender too. Body positioning is perfect. Garcia looked really comfortable too. Just dead composed and comfortable, totally at ease receiving the ball anywhere.

Really felt for Barker. Utter waste being played through the middle. So, so negates from his main strengths. Humphreys had very little to do, but looked nice and calm as ever.

He is in Manchester. He was unwell so did not travel. It's possible he could join up later but they don't want him to pass the bug on
