a threat for the Wenger trophy and thats about it.

Shrek looks like he was smoking a pack a day and scarfing pies for every meal this summer. All they got is him and hernandez (whos been almost completely outcast by lvg). If wooney get injured or doesn't find form they're in trouble. How do they spend so much money to end up in a situation like this. wankers

Imagine this forum if that had been Kompany or Mangala.

Overall a poor game yesterday.

I'm not sure too many people would be upset if Kompany or Mangala didn't play well in a Villa v Scum match.

I'd not be happy we sold either of them TBH, but that's another matter.

Kone looking good v Southampton. Classy counter and good header by lukaku. Everton really coming into the game.
Tracking back is overrated.

Southampton looking leggy or disinterested, not chasing the free ball. Can still see them getting something though.

Then again!

Everton 2 - 0 up before halftime. Lukaku with two excellent goals on the break. Everton look much stronger all over the park. Out muscling Southampton and playing pretty decent football.

Edit: Oh! And Barkley missed a sitter ala Sterling on Monday. Should be 3-0.

Horrible horrible away kit from Everton.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

But then again, when they're playing like this, it doesn't really matter. Great team and individual goal at the same time.

An Olive kit with fluorescent orange badges. I wonder if they just did it to see if anyone would be silly enough to buy one.

Back on kits, surprised Stoke aren't wearing their away kit, very nice. I'd be asking if we could wear it at home and get out of that shitty red colour.

The Sunderland fans are leaving already. Not exactly helping the team.

Perhaps to get a few pints inside them to make second half more bearable?

I'm sure that's the case for some, but many of them have left the ground. It's the first home game of the season!

That's disgusting. Maybe they heard a rumour of steak bakes at Greggs at half price

Leicester top of the table as I write. 2-1 up at West Ham. Norwich now 3-0 up away at Sunderland. Awful start to season by Sunderland. Will be their season to drop down a division unless they buck up and soon

Watching Swansea v Toon and even though Swansea are playing well I've gotta say that Newcastle are fucking awful. Didn't help that Jaanmat got sent off early but they really are poor and I'd put them in relegation trouble already.

Swansea have got some good players though. Shelvey and Sigurdsson are playing well, Gomis is scoring and Ayew and Montero look real hand fulls.
