Thanks for the update. MP has said he hopes Aguero will recover within the next hour....whatever that means. Sergio has just tweeted he does not think it is too serious. Fingers crossed. I'm not bothered if he does not play against Juve as long as it is not long term

Thanks everyone for your concern. I got a hard hit and it prevented me from playing more. It doesn't seem to be a serious injury though
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Fingers crossed. It looks promising. How Shearer didn't think it warranted a red card I don't know. He was nowhere near the ball and just hoofed him in the knee. It could have ended really badly

Fair play to Ian Wright for pulling him up on it and then putting Shearer in his place when he mentioned about Wright's tackle against the rags.

If a Newcastle player was on the receiving end of that tackle I suspect he might have taken a different view. Not a big fan of Shearer on MOTD.

His excuse was 'Aguero was a bit quick for him and he didn't go in showing his studs.' The fact he wasn't even looking at the ball but was intent on smashing Sergio's knee are just how the game is then Alan?

He's a prick. Next time someone elbows someone in the face maybe they can use the excuse 'Shearer said if I didn't go in studs up its okay'

I don't mind Shearer because I don't think he is biased like most of them are. I think he really says things how he seems them; he's just a bit thick at times :-)
but that's Million times better than having the rag/scouse loving twats on

no, there's another explanation for that. last year i think there was one incident where was typical rather ugly looking case of elbow straight into opponents nose, but Shearer just defended the bloke (maybe Huddlestone or someone) by saying "it's natural that when you jump for a ball you raise your arms and there was no intent on harming anyone so it's not a red for me". .... right

Great afternoon out jammed into a seat at the back where only the bottom half of the players on the far side were visible. Reminded me of the 60's, shit ground, standing, great atmosphere, and delirium at the winner. Another spirited display from a below par team thanks mainly to Joe with two great saves. Ref bottled it and was wank after his non decision which I suspect he knew he'd got wrong. At least he didn't send Ya Ya off which Clattenburg would have done.Kev did OK, Fern was solid after an anonymous spell first half and Ya ya and Nasri had some good moments. Bony looks well off the pace and Kolarov looked preoccupied with what ever Serbians think about when they are day dreaming. All the rest pretty solid. Jesus? Jesus!
