I haven't seen the game but the MEN gave Mangsla a 5. They said his lack of pace was exposed? I think it's tough to slate a defender given we didn't concede one goal this season.

I really respect Stuart Brennan, but today I thought he got his ratings completely off. Navas a 4? Fuck off!

It's infuriating for me. Palace are on a real roll and were well up for the game yet we are still supposed to roll these teams over.

No credit whatsoever.

[quote="Renato_CTID"]Why not Kolarov? He's so impressive since the 1st minute of our season for me![/quote

I went for Alex too. he had a bit of an iffy start, but he didn't have Raheem to cover, then was solid. I would of gone for Vinny, but the capt kept hoofing the ball up field and we lost possession all to often. He needs to keep the ball on the ground as his passing then is usually pretty accurate

Beefy mate, you're right. Palace were very good indeed today. After the first 15 I thought we were the better team for almost the remaining of the match. saying that, they made us work very hard and we ground out that win today!

Tough one to call as it really was slog fest.

Good workmanlike performance by all but I've given it to Bony who I think did a lot of selfless work today. He created a couple of half chances and fashioned a decent shot on target himself.

Honourable mentions to the entire back line, Fern (who is consistently very good now) and Yaya and of course Kelechi who bought a goal out of very little.

Hard to give it to just one today. Real tough result to grind out at one of the most difficult grounds we will visit.

I went for Hart because he made some crucial saves to keep us in it to allow Nacho to grab the winner!

Agree with this. Good team performance in a very tricky game. Samir wasn't spectacular but worked hard and was instrumental in the goal.

I went for Hart, strange game though.

Thought KDB was hit and miss, just not up to speed with us yet, but some moments of class for sure. Nacho is the hero, but can't give him MOTM for 7 mins. I'm shocked and glad pellers brought him on though.

Mangala looked awful yet we still kept a clean sheet. Strange old game.

Mangala's lack of pace? That's incredible.

A bad misplaced pass aside I thought Mangala had another good game today.Getting a rating of 5 out of 10 is well off.

As others have said, a very fine, solid team performance , and hard to name anyone who stood out. Dandruff for me - another clean one, fine save @ a cruciak stage in the game , and he's back to (nearly) his best this season , so due for it.

I thought he was dodgy as fuck mate.

One little spell summed his game up for me, takes a ball under loads of pressure and loses it trying to dribble. 30 secs later a lump forward lands at his feet under no pressure and he hoofed it back. Couldn't make his mind up all day and they ran through him half a dozen times. Thankfully thu had no end product.

I've been well pleased with his start to the season, but that game was a 5 or 6 at best for me.

On a side note...
The commentator I had on my shitty stream kept calling him "Mongala."

It was doing my head in.

No real standout. Good team effort, if I was scoring out of 10 then nobody would get higher than a 7 or lower than a 6.

As others have said, it's difficult to pick one standout performer, but there were strong performances all over the pitch.

Hart was alert when he needed to be and made a great save from the header. The defence stood strong against a pacey Palace attack, although were caught out a couple of times. But 5 clean sheets in a row is a great start to the season.

Nasri played well and was involved in a lot of our attacking play, even if he does slow the ball down more when compared to Silva/Sterling. Bony worked hard up front, always providing an outlet for the midfield and holding up the ball well.

In the end, I gave MOTM to KDB. It was a very impressive debut and he looks like he slotted in the team very easily. Am very excited to see him perform for us over the season.

KDB was clocked as making our fastest sprint on the pitch at Selhurst. I knew he was quick but wasn't aware he had that much pace! And that stat obviously includes navas on the break when he rounded the keeper, he was running full pelt at the half way line!

Our counter attacking potential looks frightening!
