His concentration levels have definitely improved. He can have nothing to do for most games, but still pulls of a great reaction save when called upon.
That's what I've noticed.
He seems totally switched on at all times.

Actually prefer him to deGea at the moment. All we've heard about is how great the doughnut rustler is for the past year, whole Joe has learned from when he was dropped and bounced back to win the Golden Glove. Again. And this season has kept five clean sheets for us and two for England.

Plus IWT2012 is spot on with the concentration. It must actually be difficult to focus when you might not even touch the ball for long periods, then get called upon to make a save. Cech did this and Joe also has this attribute. A mark of a top goalie

Well it is improving, ever so slightly. I don't think we can expect him to become like Neuer or Reina but he should be able to be competent with the ball at his feet and I still don't think he is. Mind, I thought the same about Lescott. You know, do some keep up exercises or something at home every day and in a year or so, you'll improve massively. He obviously never did. Hart is improving but he should be able to do so much faster. Then again, he's a pro footballer and I'm not so what do I know.

Probably but his overall game is good enough to cover for his odd silly mistake and keep him firmly in top 5 keepers in the world group.

Completely agree with your point about the concentration. It must be very difficult to do, but that is one of Hart's key attributes.

I think we have to accept that his distribution will never be top drawer, but the rest of his game is strong and I'd imagine most clubs in the world would want him as their keeper if he became available.

I'm with you on that, his positives massively outweigh his negatives. No-one is perfect.

He will retire with us i have no doubt about that.

253 league games for us now he will be touching 500 and be known as our best ever keeper i for one wouldnt want any other keeper.

It was a brave call by Mancini (?) at the beginning of a season a few years back, to make Joe our number 1 ahead of Given. It was the right decision with hindsight cos Joe would have fucked off. Joe just wanted to play. I don't think he is too old to learn either. He has shown real improvement in distribution though it took him a long time to get there. He might be a bit thick.... being a goalkeeper.

I do love Joe. But I wish he could kick like Caspar Schmikes. Watching him in the first half just now it was like a canon exploding on a subtle arc. What a leg.

We've been blessed with some great keepers over the last 6-8 years and Joe is head and shoulders the best in the Prem right now. How lucky are we?

You're never too old to improve. It's no different to a striker staying and working on their finishing if he puts in the work at training he will get better. It wasn't that long ago he was flapping at crosses and now he looks great, he obviously addressed that, I hope he does the same for

Quite often De gea, Lloris or Mignolet will be put under a bit of pressure and kick it low and hard down the middle and straight to an opposition player. It is rare that Joe kicks it that poorly that the other team has an opportunity to score straight away.

He doesn't give away goals from it, so he's not completely shit but he puts it in the stands under no really pressure far too often.
