Acording to SSN we are in "early talks" over a move for Jerome Boateng of HSV Hamburg, remember him against us last season he played very well. Could be a good signing if we pull it off.

By the way acording to Wikipedia he can play either right or left full-back and also plays centre half for Hamburg, could be very usefull.

Im sure it won't take long to sort out a deal for him, but yeah Hamburg do seem to be a feeder club for us lately.

Would rather have Aogo personally, or both.

Also, Boateng's brother is playing for Pompey so I think it would be easy enough for him to settle in England.

Probably an existing target if true, funnily enough I think that might also be true of Vieira, we were linked with him in the summer. IMO Mancini will have been given a Dossier of all the targets that we've been looking at and asked which ones he wants

Kevin-Prince Boateng is fucking shite though! Hope he is better than his brother!
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Wiki says this lad is 6' 3 1/2".
With Vieira, Kompany, Lescott, RSC and Ade it'll be the land of the giants!

I was thinking that re Vieira.....we look like we could have a very odd mixture of midgets and giants with very little in between! Funny

don't know much about him, but he is only 20 and already a full German international, so bodes well. Would fit in to the dressing room quickly due to already knowing Vinny and Nige.
