*** City v Juve - Official Match Thread ***

Postby AG7 » Tue Sep 15, 2015 9:50 am

Eight hours to team announcement, nine to kick off ... and time to lay down a marker from the start in Champions League this season, just like we have in the league ...

Have to admit after the boring FIB the prospect of seeing City in action every three to four days for next three weeks is just great ... maybe not so much for the manager and the players, but for fans what else could we ask for ... actually, on second thoughts, with the squad we have now, I'm sure players won't mind going deep into all competitions this year and a fixture overload as then they all get to play ...

As for tonight ... City 4 - 0 Juve

C'mon City ... time to fuck the Italian cunts up.

Oh, and c'mon Eindhoven!

will bony start up top?
will kdb get his first home start?
who will partner yaya in centre mid?
lots of big decisions for the count coming up this evening....
the form we're in gives us a real chance to lay a marker down tonight but we all know how difficult european games are...
expecting our toughest test of the season so far but i think we'll have enough to fuck these cunts up.

come on city!!!!

With Aguero missing (shame Pellegrini doesn't do mind games; had it been Mancini, I'd half expect him to pull him out of his hat and start this evening) ... this would be the team most likely:

Hart
Sagna - Komps - Mangler - Kola
Fernandinho - Yaya
KdB - Silva - Sterling
Bony

I'd be happy with that ... but you never know with his love in with Navas and then his new signing Otamendi is still on the bench ...

Mate has just bought a raft of paper tickets from the ground.

Quite a few casual observers from work going tonight. A couple have expressed surprise at the reasonable prices

This is such a corrupt competition I for one will be watching the refs performance very closely.

Buffon, is doing what Barca have done previously, setting down a marker, for the officials. We are "Juve"- Just as the Bayern Mafia do. Get the game slowed down no dramas. I Just a decent ref, from a decent league, who is capable of letting 2 teams from different cultures play the game fairly. No diving, no penalties that are 2yrds outside the box, or fucking Pandering to cheating cunts. Just try it Uefa you might see City as a proper football team, playing great stuff the world want to see from the best competition.

Depends on your provider with Setanta. If you've got UPC then Setanta Ireland is free.
