What a thick cunt to choose a relegation battle when he could be polishing silver in may.

And he wouldn't have gone there if Brentan wasn't manager. Absolutely crackers. Brentan will be gone soon and the next manager might not fancy him/stick him on the wing.

They showed McClaren a few times on the touchline and he looks like he's suffering from full-on gibbering senility. I can't wait to hear what he has to say about their latest defeat.

Arsenal doing worse than us. 2-0 down at the moment. Giroud was sent off.
Imagine the media if Utd and Arsenal won and we were the only ones losing.
Small consolation, but things could be worse.
We'll bounce back.

Well EPL is not best league any more despite all the money, last two seasons pffff. At list we lost to Juventus ,shity Juventus but Juventus. Arsenal lost from club who get nearly kick off by Molde and had in Play off Albanian Champions. Club who draw with I think Luxumburg club at home in secend play off. Croation league is so shit that Dinamo is not chalenged 10 years not because they are great League is just shit and it s ruled by one guy They are droping from Alborg Ludogrec Astana ( 3 years ago ) not see spring even in EL ever.Really I think EPL is not the best league now it s just most popular. How can Arsenal fans tolerate Wenger any more I don't know.

It depends on how you define 'Best League'.
I don't think the best teams in it are as good as the best teams in the Spanish and German leagues, but I do think it is the most competitive league.
This fact alone makes it the most compelling league to watch.
I think English teams are maybe, slightly disadvantaged by the fact that, it doesn't matter whether you are playing Watford, Sunderland or Chelsea or Arsenal, the weekend before or after a Champions League match. You will have a hard game and will have to be at your best. It is very competitive.
You are not guaranteed a CL spot for the following year like most of the regulars from Italy, Spain, Germany and France are.
It is more of a dogfight.
The fact that Juventus rested half a team before playing us is not an excuse, they only drew a match you'd expect them to win and we should have beaten them anyway. But, despite the start we are off to in the EPL, we couldn't get away with doing that on a regular basis. The fact we won at Palace without Sterling and Silva and Kun, is quite an achievement, but at what cost for Aguero's injury. Silva certainly looked like he was carrying an injury too, against Juve.
There is an argument too, for having a winter break, which other leagues do and usually look fresher in January/February, which is a time when City recently have flagged a bit. I can't see the EPL going for that though, but who knows.

I think the EPL is the best league to watch despite it's flaws. I don't really have an interest in watching a one or two horse race. Wait and see whether it reaps the benefits for English teams when the Television money comes rolling in. Will squads across the board get strong enough to take on the likes of Bayer/Real/Barca. Wait and see if any UEFA barriers get thrown in the way, to make sure the regular Italian/Spanish/German teams are protected.

Who is regular from Germany , just Bayern and in EPL it s almost always 56 same clubs at top . Yea maybe Wes Brom is beter then Darmstad but Darmstad win Leverkusen , that means they have upset to , Chievo almost beat Juventus witch have one point Inter and Milan dont play even Europa league , Spain is kinda same always . EPL is not any diferent then Geman in terms of competitivness . only diference they have just one really big club but in there league Werder Sttutgart , Wolsburg win the league in last 10 years like here Everton , West Ham and Spurs( that will never happen in EPL) let say and then hey are fighting for relegation , so it s not that . It s just EPL is most media cover , English also help and course money . Money is crazy in compere to rest.

I'm not sure what your point is. On the surface of it, it looks like we are agreeing about a lot.
Bayern are the only team in Germany that are going to win it really. They've won for the last three years. Dortmund for the two years before that.
In Italy despite Juve's Chelsea impersonation at the start of this season, Juventus have won for the last four years. Then there was Milan in 2010-2011 and before that it was Inter for the 5 years before that.
Spain is usually carved up between Barca and Real. Apart from Athletico in 2013-2014 you have to go back to Valencia winning in 2003-2004 to find another team interrupting the dominence.
You could argue that the EPL was going the same way. First it was between Arsenal and Manure every year. Chelsea came along and and Arsenal haven't won it since 2003-2004. It was carved up between United and Chelsea then until we came along. We really threw the cat amongst the pigeons, because the Big Four were no longer guaranteed a CL spot, which really upsets Liverpool who are in danger of becoming irrelevant.
I think the real competition in the league lies in the calibre of match you get week in week out. Nothing is guaranteed and there is a lot at stake at the top, moreso than the other leagues, I would argue.
FFP was put their with the backing of the Premier League Big Four for a reason and the reason was to take that competition out of the equation. Namely Manchester City. I would say primarily Manchester City even though PSG feel it targets them also.

I used to love the Italian League back in the 80's. It had all the attraction that the EPL has now. It had money and all the stars went to play there. Italian football corruption made a basket case of their league. The football is slow. Without the big stars it just wasn't that attractive to watch. Crowds fell.
The English League has always been attractive to watch and the TV investment is testament to that.
What that does to the game, I don't know. You would like to think it will drag the standard of all teams up, but I don't think there is too many owners that will re-invest in their club, like The Sheik has. I know what he has done takes extraordinary wealth, but the principle of spending your own money, is what I'm on about.

They always say follow the money, when you are investigating the whys? and wherefores? of things.
Well there is a reason why the money is now in the English Premier League. It doesn't mean the top four are better than the rest of Europe.
I think it means the league as a whole is better for the customer. It's not the most popular for no reason.
