Lawro and degenerate Crackhead week 6

Postby Wonderwall » Fri Sep 18, 2015 12:48 pm

Lawro is back to Normalville and taking on Ashes pace man Stuart Broad, whilst Merson is paid to spout utter drivel as usual, I cannot believe they publish him!!!

The Ashes hero is a Nottingham Forest fan who saw his team beaten 8-1 by Manchester United on his first trip to the City Ground in 1999. "I remember the guy who was sat in front of us arrived late and left early to avoid the traffic, and he missed about five goals," Broad told BBC Sport. "So it was a bit of a learning experience - now I always make sure I get to a game early and stay until the end."

YES, so take heed all you X factor loving early darters!!!!

Lawro says
They have won at Arsenal and won at Liverpool so I'm not sure I can tip West Ham to get beaten with their away form so far this season. I am going to, though. Dimitri Payet looks a very good player for the Hammers, but will he see enough of the ball to hurt Manchester City? I would argue the answer is no.

From what we have seen of them domestically this season, I think it will be a routine victory for the leaders.
Juventus showed again that teams who can defend properly against City can cause them all sorts of problems, but I don't see West Ham being one of them.

Lawro's prediction: 2-0
Broad's prediction: West Ham had such a good result against Newcastle but going to the Etihad Stadium is tough. 3-0

Merson says:
This depends on Vincent Kompany - if he doesn't play it will be a different game. It will be even more difficult with no Sergio Aguero, as we saw against Juventus.

West Ham have bundles of pace in their team to cause problems, but if City can get David Silva on the ball, then it is a different game.

I can only see a narrow win. West Ham have plenty in their side. You take away their two results against Leicester and Bournemouth and they'd be right up there. Was that the pressure of the fans? We don't know.

I wouldn't be at all shocked if it ended in a draw.

Disappointed in Lawro, he's wimped out after a few adventurous predictions, protecting his lead over he guests. Mersonmanages to say 'different game' twice in two paragraphs, and, yes Paul, if you took all the bad results out, every team would be equal on points with City.

So what isMerson's prediction - he says narrow win - but would not be surprised if it was a draw - what about a score?
