Teams noiw have us sussed and they've all adopted the tried and tested Juve model that doesn't allow Kun any space whatsoever. Our formation and tactics were shown in the 1st minute when Kolarov threw a beautiful ball in where nobody gamblked, the nearest player was 18 yards away.
We can't score with intricate balls everytime, we need to open the space and that means players like Sterling taking some responsibility and dragging people out of position, allowing for the likes of Dave and Sergio to work their magic.
Say what you like about Navas but he scares defenders to death.

Sterling looked a lot better when Navas was playing because having two wingers stretches the opposition defence and makes space for them both, and for Silva in the middle. Navas for de Bruyne for this reason if we are not winning on 70 minutes.
I think de Bruyne is a far better player from the little I have seen of him but Navas has more pace and fits the system better.
That said, I think the boys can win this as is.
