Alex mate,
Not sure of the exact date (was actually looking at it last night too) but the Salford Hundreds no longer exists, but even within that, Manchester existed as a village/Township.
He can go as far into ancient history as he fuclin wants mate but Newton Heath nor the present swamp have ever been within any boundary of Manchester...Not opinion,...fact.
The boundary changes of 1890 are the ones relevant to Clayton, where the rags resided when it was annexed into Manchester. The recent boundaries of the 1970s did nothing to move the swamp inside manchester at all.
...and what the fucl he is going on about Lancashire Cricket Club for is ridiculous.

Pprobably the guy who got in my cab some years ago and said "Take me home" when i asked him where he lived, he answered... "You're the fucking cab driver!!!"
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

To wind him up even more, just point out the fact that Newton Heath as a club were started by a Scouser too!
