He was yts for us, so even though he's a bit of a gobshite I've always let him off just because of that link.

Arguably, he has been that way for probably a good two years now. It's just that it's been glossed over due to the World Cup last year. Who in the Premier League would be dumb enough to take him on now, what with the wage and contract length he would demand. Everton? Dippers? A top club wouldn't touch him with a barge pole now. Looks like the rags will continue to shell out 300000 big ones each week for the foreseeable. Happy days
