Do you? I'm just nerves, which turn into jubilation or despair, depending on the result.

I dont really get nervous about it anymore,i dont watch the matches in an environment which will get me wound up.

Unless we win 6-1 again.

This.

I hope we fucking batter the bastards. Come on, boys.

Yep. Absolutely the same for me.

Even here you find annoying munes in pubs, even among the locals. So I just stay at home and listen to Ian Cheeseman on the City website.

I'm always nervous for a derby no matter what.

We should still have enough to win it especially as their defence always seems to have makeshift written all over it these days.

The defeat which kickstarted our run playing at the back of my mind but think we were in a bad place at that point last season.

I used to go into the Derby with a sense of trepidation, but those days have gone. Now, I go into them with a confident swagger, knowing that if we play our game we'll take home the spoils and it will be an off day, or a refereeing decision that snatches the win.

Be confident, Mancini reversed the roles for us and its them who now walk into these games with ultimate dread.

LOL

http://www.espnfc.com/blog/the-toe-poke ... am-snubbed

With a four-day trip to Britain on the cards, China's Manchester United-obsessed president Xi Jinping was rather hoping to take the opportunity to squeeze in a tour of Old Trafford during his state visit.

However, Xi has reportedly had his dreams scotched by local council chiefs, who instead thoughtfully arranged a VIP tour of the home of United's bitter crosstown rivals, Manchester City.

Xi apparently has Manchester Council leader Sir Richard Leese to thank for the last-minute venue swap, with Leese -- an avid City fan -- lobbying Downing Street to have the Chinese embassy switch the visit from Old Trafford to the Etihad.

Leese was also backed by his chief executive Howard Bernstein, who, as you may have guessed, is also a lifelong City fan and even currently serves as the club's honorary president.

"I don't know if they have broken the news to their president yet," a diplomatic source told Sun Nation.

"Let's hope he's not too disappointed after flying 7,000 miles the nearest he will get to the Theatre of Dreams is the home of the enemy, four miles away."

We're sure he'll be over the (blue) moon.

I read quite a few articles on the visit and then came across this, which seemed to be against the stated brief. Then I realised it was a blog, which, for some reason, we now take as real journalistic news.

Quite rightly moaning IMO. I know we would be saying exactly the same thing and he is right. So let's use this to our advantage to get us better prepared for the game.
