Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Nacho isn't gonna get on is he? Spineless today which is something I didn't think Id say of pellers.
Perhaps given the circumstances he'll settle but it's made for a shit game and it's not guranteed yet.
Tracking back is overrated.

We're all missing Kun and Bony is certainly no man for man replacement for him. If we're playing him we should play a set up that works for him.
I think it's worse that Yaya was wasted in that role. I'd rather seen him drop deep and KDB in the Silva role.
ANd that's the problem of Yaya now. He's too slow to be effective when pushed forward like Mancini used to do but he's also too slow to play in the midfield. He needs two players to cover him and then we have to take someone in the top three of. He's a square peg in a round hole whichever way you turn it.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"
"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

He wants a DM to counter the lanky Sideshow Bob.
Or we could just go for the win?
Because Yaya was going to win us the match.
Who said he was? I didn't mention Yaya in my above post did I? There's other people on the bench that can win us the match.
And theres people on the pitch that are potential match winners, Fernandinho for example - who might be able to have more influence with a DM on the pitch rather than a Yaya.

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

He would be fine next to / just behind energizer bunny Kun, but with Bony as the striker you end up with an Ivorian heavyweight fiasco.

Yeah but you could say that about anyone in our squad. I.E. put him next to Kun and it's settled. IMO.

They both would have been still onside if Kola had pushed up to the line.

Yes. In La la land they would have. But not in our world.
