Cracking save that from Butland.

Jose will last until the weekend IMHO until Klopp gets his first win.

We'd better make sure we go through now, or the media will be lining up an LVG vs Klopp final.

Leicester apparently had a peno in the last minute of extra time, missed it and then went on to lose the following penalty shootout. Football is amazing sometimes

Tonight's games put me well into mood for tomorrow. Come on blues!

Hopefully the team and the county aren't being as flippant as us lot (me included) as Palace are playing well still.

LOL at Maureen though, Whinger seems to have his sights set higher (excepting injuries tonight, he could have fielded a stronger team from the off)?

Congrats to former EDS player, Jeremy Hélan, who defeated Arsenal so convincingly, along with the rest of the Sheffield Wednesday team! After the Ox & Walcott went off injured, Arsenal looked 2nd best.

The funniest bit of match commentary came from Peter Drury... He said, "It's that coat time of day again, for Arsene Wenger," as they showed L'Arse, fumbling to get his coat on!
Drury then said, "He chooses not to take on that zip, this time... One of his biggest challenges in football, is the zip on that coat!!"

That was a great save from Jack Butland, to knock Chelsea out! Just prior to Butland saving Hazard's penalty kick, the commentator had just said, "9 perfect penalties taken... Certainly Eden Hazard can't be the one to miss?!"

Some very nice surprises in today's results, all in all.

best case scenario would be a Jose meltdown and sacking on Friday, and some interim gaffer working over the Scouse filth on the weekend. A man can dream can't he?

cheers

hah, Jose's golden goose lets him down. how sad.

Wenger deserved to lose after starting Ox after he was injured last week and then for rushing Theo on without a warmup. what an idiot.

Many thanks for sharing this Chelski comedy classic!

I smiled, when Frank Lampard said in his OBE award interviews, that he thinks that Mourinho can still turn things around for Chelsea... They should have waited until after today's Stoke City match, to interview Lampard!

Tonight will be no walkover. Palace have no need to husband their resources for a relegation fight and can afford to go for it. Chelsea and Arsenal are out, beat us and they'll fancy their chances to go all the way

Isn't Pardew a big fan of resting players and they play Scum Saturday?
