Has mr. Wright stopped drinking or something? As mentioned, decent article. Some praise, some criticism..fair enough.

And Raheem really should take note re: his finishing, crossing etc. Improvement needed

Don't care.

Didn't give a shit when he was paying out on us, certainly don't give a shit if he's looking for a ticket aboard the bandwagon.

Ian Wright has surprised me lately. He may well have knocked the booze on the head cos he's gone from spouting clichéd nonsense to making his points clearly and well. Still not Einstein but at least he's trying to be professional.

Maybe we did need the money, but a cult hero who'd come through from a young age was going nowhere until his stepdad started in his ears. As a fan (rather than customer) I hated the way it was done.

A young England winner leaves a mid table club for a contender and doubles his wages, whilst earning a huge fee for the selling club...

Remind me what you think about our Raheem deal?

Pearce and wardle have gone on record saying that we would have gone under without that money.

Thanks shauny

Also I was at Macclesfield for the pre season friendly watching him warm up and then he never appeared for the game and sky news broke it that he was on his way to Chelsea. Felt like a kick in the nuts at the time.

Aside from SWP Ian Wright is a dick. Opinionated beyond belief and struggles to string a sentence together on MOTD. Also slags everyone off except Arse players or Rooney.

When Shearer tried to make a big deal about a foul the other week Wrighty pulled him up on his assault on Neil Lennon so at the moment he's alwright with me.
