No. They haven't even said it is changing. They are just consulting at the moment. I would imagine it will be changed for next seasons kit launch

Since you'll have one on your bridal gown I'm assuming prior to your wedding.
Cheers

I'd really like to stress that it's important to understand every element of the badges City have had and would urge everyone to book on one of my lectures and/or visit the consultation space. We did the first last night and I was amazed at the number of people who said that their views had changed once they'd listened to the badge evolution and seen images showing the use of ALL of our badges. For example the original (pre Red Rose) badge was worn on the pitch at Wembley in 1970 (come to the talks to find out more and to see the evidence) and it was prominent at the ECWC final of 1970, FAC final of 1969 and during City's 1967-68 title winning season. I'll explain all at the talks and will answer questions etc there.
This is a great opportunity City are giving us, so please come to the talks, see the evidence, ask questions and then spread the word of which elements matter to you. More details on the talks here
http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Club-news/20 ... nsultation.
If you came to the talk then please feel free to add your comments on whether you gained anything or not. Cheers

I never noticed this before. I think City are trying to get fans to choose the Bee via the power of suggestion. I noticed Summerbee/Starbar's blue walls had bees painted on them. I never noticed this before.....Do they have Derron Brown working for them?

for those without email.....................
As you know, the Club has been undertaking a consultation with all Cityzens members to establish whether the Club badge should evolve, and if so, how.
The consultation period has closed with thousands of Cityzens members having given their views via the online Cityzens' questionnaire and the dedicated consultation space at the Etihad Stadium. Hundreds of you also attended a series of free lectures on the history of the badge, provided by Football Historian Gary James.
Having analysed all responses received, we can confirm that there is an overwhelming desire amongst Cityzens for the badge to evolve and that a round design, as used in two of the Club's three previous crests, is by far the most popular shape and continued to be so throughout the consultation.
We have therefore been engaging with our designers to establish a badge which most authentically reflects both Manchester City Football Club and the city of Manchester and which takes into account the feedback that we have received during this consultation.
The new badge design, when completed, will be publicly revealed in the coming weeks, but only after you, as a Cityzen, have seen it first.

Still my favourite too, it's like a modern rendition of something traditional.

Yeah it needs a bit of color contrast tho tbf I feel. Dash of maroon in there maybe wouldn't hurt it. And we seem hell bent on wearing it. Just a sliver of it wouldn't hurt.
I do like this one tho. I'm all for something very very similar.
Cheers
