MotM v Hull

Postby Beefymcfc » Tue Dec 01, 2015 9:39 pm

Feck that recycling, stickiy shit, have your say boys and girls. Hard to pick for me, the defence were excellent, the midfield hard working, and creative, and the attack were sometimes sublime.

Otamendi?
Dave?
Kev Brown?
Dave 'The fucking' Silver?

I even thought Sterling has a chance, even with the time he had.

Plenty of choice.

PS. 4-1, where have I seen that before?

I thought silva was amazing.
It typifies why most fans don't realise how good he is. De Bruyne got all the eye catching stats, but dave dictated the whole play as usual.

I'd give it joint but if I've to pick, it's dave. Again.

Ooooo it's a toss up. Dave as changed our surges forward, Otter was no nonsense tackling and great passes, Delph played superb as did Ian when he came on. However, Kev gets it for me with the above hard to choose from.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

KDB and Otter great, but Merlin for me. Slotted right back into his stride so easily. A joy to watch.

Dave was sublime, Kev was majestic, but as a long time City fan I have to say that Delph's energy, seemingly playing as a 2nd striker near the end, gets my vote.

I knew he's be good but he is far more than Milner good. He fucking gets us!

Well, since I refused KDB my vote in the last game for only scoring one and making two, he upped his game tonight, so I suppose I'd better go for him.

The Otter is giving a 'Vinnie' sense of security. Gets better every game.
Dave was back on top form straightaway too.

Didn't think Hull offered much threat, yet still Otter for me, as he closed out any sniff they did have.

Silva showed why we've looked poor for a couple of months and I can't wait to see him get playing with KDB, Sterling (when he stops cutting back) and Aguero. Hopefully all will be fighting fit when we take on Barca in February.

KDB looks back to his best, perhaps as Silva creates space for him and his more direct approach is a real bonus. His stats are ridiculous already, just a pity he won't make team of the season either.

i know Kev scored a double and looked good and that Hull never really threatened but, still, I thought Otamendi was immense at the back

I voted for Dave as he demonstrated how much we have missed him, but if I had a 2nd vote it would be going to Delph (which might seem unfair on Kev).

I hope that Pellers is really strong and recognises what he is bringing to CITY and he gets a lot of game time - what a bargain he is going to prove to be!!

great point and will do it at Stoke where Charlie Adam is going through his millisecond late challenge on Silva in training. Delph is needed at places Stoke. Same as Milner was.
