Indeed they do.

There is a few things wrong, no doubt about that. But all mainly related to key players being injured. Pellegrini makes some fuck ups with team selections from time to time, like they all do, but the bullshit about wanting him hopping around on the side line showing great emotion is completely ridiculous.
When we were hitting similar form under Mancini, his jumping around did nothing to change what was happening on the pitch. The work is done on the training pitch, with most, if not all of your key players available.

To go the odd game with key players missing is normal. To go through the whole season so far without them ever playing together puts a ridiculous strain on the side.

Sure we bought players to step in for the odd game that our key players miss, but these back up players are playing MORE than our key players. When that happens regularly, we are not the team that the bookies made favourites. IT is NOT the same team.

The fact that we were top of the table until Saturday, with Aguero, Silva and Kompany (three of the WORLD'S greatest players in their positions) missing for most of the season was really good going. Seriously impressive.

There is no excuse for exactly how shit we were at Stoke. Some days there are no excuses. But to want the guy sacked when he has missed his three best players, for such an amount of games is way over the top.

You take Messi, Suarez and Neymar out of Barca and see how they get on, for any prolonged period.
Same goes for any other top side.

We have been very unlucky this season so far with injuries and for some to just brush that under the table is pathetic.

I hope we start to get a good run with these guys back playing together, because we are an excellent side that will pull away from the rest if this happens. Without having to sack the manager for the tea lady or Brian fucking Kidd.

Excellent post, mate.

Would we not be reliant on the likes of Fernando, Navas, Demichelis and Bony if we pick up a few injuries?

I want a new manager in, but there's no point til end of season. We also need to refresh the squad and get rid of our midtable players. I'd also seriously consider any potential Real Madrid bid for Aguero and Kompany and replace with world class players who you can actually rely on

You could have said the same about Liverpool. That was the manager to go for, but we've got a hard on for Guardiola and can't see past him

I don't think sacking him is right, before the na of the season at least, where I do want to see a change, but we're wasting an opportunity big time to win the league, it won't be this easy to win the league again for a number of years but there's us making a bollocks of it

I don't do knee jerks but the performance at Stoke was the worst since Sven's last game in charge and that tells me there is a big problem within our squad.I would go as far as saying some of our players have chucked the towel in it's the only way to explain such a lily livered display such as Saturdays as it was obvious that with a couple of exceptions the players were just not interested.

I would mind less if it was a one off, but there were similar issues at Spurs and against Liverpool and we were slow against Hull. I'm struggling to think of many games this season where we've played really well, maybe in the first few games, but I keep thinking that when we start playing, we'll pull away from the pack, but we're now 1/3 of the way into the season and it's not happening. Expecting us to click is like expecting the rags to start scoring.

Something is wrong, but I don't just blame the manager - the core of this team has been together since 2011 and we've seen this before. There seems to be a complete lack of professionalism and hunger. Successful sides in the past had that, a desire to win it again. We don't seem that bothered either way most games

Another milestone achieved.
Top of the group.

Maybe let's not sack him for Brian kidd or the tea lady just yet?

It's a funny old game, but one that is only won at the final whistle. In the final game.

I was wondering why he was changing it when we were on top, but he got it bang on.

Bony and navas introduction knocked the shit out of them.

I didn't realise the tea lady was an option, I am thinking we don't need Pep now.

We weren't shown up by Juve, they shaded both games.

Juventus weren't that impressive imo. Indvidual mistakes (especially when we lost Vinny in the home game) and poor finishing cost us.

Apparently at half time Pellegrini read out one of Guardiola's personal motivational speeches that he used to deliver regularly at Barcelona.

Yeah. They were given a Pep talk......

Stop it. No ones happier than me about today.

I'd still stick a wooden stake in his heart if I'm honest. We're so schizo.

When he draws at the weekend what will you say then?

Amazing second half tho. And his subs? Lucky as fuck since we were battering them at the time. The goals were going to come if he subbed OD and myself in tbh.

But fair fucks. Bony was good. Very good.

Cheers
