If we were mid table, not fighting for trophies, didn't have the injuries to our key players and on top of having to integrate the new signings then there isn't a problem introducing more EDS players. However, It is similar to last season and there will be far too much pressure placed on them for any manager's liking.

But we could surely integrate just one? Not suggesting wholesale changes as that would not work. MDM looks way out of his depth now. I'd sooner see Yaya there than him, thus freeing up a slot in midfield. We have to try these lads sooner or later and a braver manager would have done so by now.

To be fair to Pellegrini, I applaud his philosophy of always wanting to attack and to take the game to our opponents. However, there are some instances when a bit more tactical nous is called for. These are the times when he infuriates me.

Overall, I am still in the persevere camp.

It wasn't, they edged the first, we battered them in the second.

We weren't slow, lethargic or devoid of ideas in that first half, we attacked well but they identified our weakness at right back and exploited it very well.
