which was a better feeling for you, today's match or Sergio's late heroics vs. Bayern?
i dont remember the specifics and the table at the time of the Bayern win but it wasn't to top the group. does topping the group throw things in favor of today's match for you?
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Well for a few of who 'can't be arsed' about this game the response looks pretty positive! ;-)
Last night will go down as one of our 'great nights in Europe'. For me that was up there with the Hamburg game!

And as for the whole night well: If Carlsberg did football results......

If we can avoid PSG in the draw then a last 8, possible semi final place is definitely on!

Champions League - don't you just love it chaps! :-)

Honestly BMG are a great team with fantastic supporters. What a noise they made!!

Very lucky to be only 2-1 down in the first half. Clichy didn't seem to realise he was not playing left back and Mangala was er well Mangala.

Tin tin ran twice as much as every one else and was knackered by half time
Sterling kept losing the ball in the first half which put even more pressure on our fragile defence. He made amends however!

Incredible. After 50 years supporting them the buggers can still surprise you. My lad and I actually hugged!

After the depression of Stoke the euphoria of BMG.

It's a funny old game Saint.

Bit unlucky to go in at the break 2-1 down imo, couldn't begrudge them their lead but it was a fairly even contest in the first half.

Don't get why you're calling out Mangala, it was his defensive partner that was all at sea though tbf he got better as the game wore on.

He got the message then lol..dropped for a false forward....if he didn't react he was in for another slagging off.

I think the fact that we were piling forward till the 3rd minute of injury time spoke volumes about what we are capable of....the ball was coming into the penalty area every few seconds.
If we had played like this over the last 2 premiership games then we wouldnt have fuckign lost them ffs!!

Like the first 10 mins of Gladiator in the second half. Unleash Hell indeed.

We played some stuff.

To be fair tho gladbags tactic of sitting back and asking for it was like Rocky begging Apollo Creed to punish him.

Cheers

Don't know about that as I don't follow the cricket. But their tactic of sitting back and waiting to hit us on the break seemed fine to me. Unfortunately for them, we turned up for the second half so they barely got any time on the ball.

We didn't let them out, the pressing was brilliant in that second half, led by Silva, it was really pleasing to see him take on that leadership role. Bit unfair to put it down to them sitting back

You have to say that the CL games this year have been more entertaining than I can recall since we have been in.

How many games did we come back to win? I think it was all 4 of the wins, no?

No there didn't seem to be many. After the fourth goal a good few went but not a mass exodus

All enjoyable. Liked Pellegrini's initial selection dropping the three main culprits v stoke. Watched the game in Galashiels, me and the barman! Enjoyed the turn around. Then to cap it all, the person I had to see lived next to Bobby Johnstone Way in Selkirk! BJ my childhood hero seen on our montage that opens the site. Then to cap it all the M6 and M1 didn't have a single hold up or contraflow, so three miracles.

Got a really good buzz from that win, thought we had let slip our chance to win the group but they performed typical City in a good way this time.

Fingers crossed for a good draw on Monday.
