Toure in a two man central midfield. Will Pellegrini never learn?

Good to see he's going with the goal scorers from Tuesday from the off.

Pellers better not wait too late for subs if things ain't going how they should

De Bruyne given a rest which looks a good decision. Toure and Fernandinho in central midfield not sure. It limits Fernandinho who's been our best player this season and even against Swansea it may expose us on the counter. Hopefully the confidence of the Swans is so low it won't matter.

Come on City.

What's going on with Delph, is he not quite fully fit or something?

Delph has had two hamstring injuries already and Pellegrini has to manage him more carefully.

If I was the Swansea caretaker manager I'd have had them practising counter attacks all week.

Kolarov had one of his best matches during the week whilst Clichy was absolutely turd. So he puts Clichy in. Makes sense. Fuckin idiot Pellers!! This swapping of fullbacks every game fucked Bobby up.

You don't think maybe Kolarov put in a huge amount of effort Tuesday? And that Clichy obviously needs to get match fit?

I think Tuesday was 4 days ago and that's plenty of rest. If you'd ask Kolarov if he wanted to play he'd most likely say yes I'd imagine.

Commentator making a point of saying City played without a recognized striker on Tuesday and according to him, it worked for us.

So....someone didn't see the game.

agreed. but Fern has been our best player this season playing in the 2-man midfield with Toure

true but Clichy was played out of position and Manuel seems very wary of fatigue

First counter attack and we should have been a goal down.
