Definitely Kelechi's goal. Last touch from a City player. Doesn't matter whether Yaya's shot was on or off target.

If Nacho tries to claim it, I think Yaya won't be happy.

If I was a striker and the ball hits me on its way in that's mine all day.

We were shite and got lucky. Would say it's post chumps but let's be honest our league form has been dire for a while.

Not looking forward to next weekend

Their goal was nothing to do with Mangala and everything to do with the spectator in front of him who will never make a defensive midfielder as long as he's got a hole in his arse.Only one angle for that through pass and Fernandino can't see it.Take your eyes off the ball and watch him when they replay it.Drives me up the wall after watching Barry's display lunchtime. We bought a 30 million pound fucking pygmy.

You are talking massive shit. Mangala backs off gomis, playing him onsides. Then as the ball is coming in, Mangala runs straight at gomis as if the ball is going into feet... but it's being played in behind. So his momentum is going in the wrong direction and he got burned. If he just read the ball correctly he could have been comfortably goal side the whole time

Good effort from Yaya to bag our win, doesn't matter to me who got the last touch. Yaya/Nacho got us the 3 points What a nervy last few moments that was.

The BBC are crediting the winning goal to Nacho.

Hungover and spending day in
Watched Everton game before. When Stones is available we need to be in for him
Thought we were alright today... Bit slow but a lot of players off the boil. We did enough and if can get through Kompany and Aguero's annual mid season breaks near the top we should pull away in new year . Great win and come on Bournemouth!!!

By the way was it just me or was that Ref really really one-sided?

He seemed to favour Swansea, but I might have my Blue tinted specs on.

Yep. It really doesn't matter if the midfield let him down, he's supposed to know what to do there.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Mangala got done badly. That said I see your point about the midfield not closing the option to play that ball straight through them. There's also not enough pressure on the player making the pass.

Our two genuine defensive midfielders are Fernando and Delph. I'm more comfortable when one or other is in the team. This is particularly so because we look awfully fragile at the back dealing with midfield runners. Fernandinho is more of an all round box to box midfielder and a damn good one at that. Our best player this season week in week out.

Was it not a foul? Hart gets there before him and he catches Hart, have I got that wrong?

Just back on the coach, fuck me we are dull to watch. Always going onto the left corner then piss about and lose the ball.
Shocking speed of play and the lack of movement at times was simply rubbish.
A wins a win but we need to find some more energy and fight from somewhere.

We look no more secure with Fernando in the side. Once on the ball he takes a lot away from us going forward.
