did us a huge favor calling gomis for the "foul" on hart.

Was it not a foul? Hart gets there before him and he catches Hart, have I got that wrong?

Looked like minimal contact on a 50/50...could be wrong.

We are looking like we have played 40 games. Take the win, but need the red bull next week or it will be a tough trip to the library. No legs and but for Hart we would have got another hammering. Teams work the ball better than us and create 1v1s which Arsenal will bury. Worried.

Missed it all due to the river side of our house nearly breaching. Our village is currently an island, cannot get in nor out. All got a bit fucked up out there for a few hours.

All sounds a bit 'typical City'. Would that be an apt description??

Reminded me more of the rags of old, played well within ourselves, not enough conviction to get the job done and got punished for it, then got a bit of luck to win it.

If I remember rightly, when Van Horseface scored his 11 or whatever in a row weren't they mostly 1-0?

A win is a win, but we are not managing games, we just got lucky.
We have to be one of the easiest teams to score against. But for Hart again that could have got embarrassing.
Yet you do feel we have another gear to go up, if we do get into trouble.
Why do we not go for the jugular and kill games off earlier. The BMG game showed the intensity we can play at, but we just don't seem up for it week in week out.
We are scraping by. I hope it's enough to keep us in contention for the business end of the season, but it's frustrating to watch.

Our overall defense is a real worry, not just the back four. It'll take more than Kompany coming back to sort that.

I actually thought we were trying to manage the game but got sloppy; again!

Wasn't luck though, a goal's a goal. Just like that beauty from Bournemouth.

So lucky with that performance, the best team lost.

We are getting found out at home as well as away now with the suicidal constantly pushing the fullbacks up ,why with Navas and Sterling!

Looked like he was defending the 1-0.

Fucking Shambles.

Mangala was booked today. Is he suspended for the Arsenal game? I think he is, I hope he is.

Most definitely we were lucky.
We were asking for trouble all second half, and when they scored on the 89th minute it was no more than they deserved. Yaya picked it up again but we're blessed that we had time to score never mind the fortunate deflection.
That's not managing a game. If they were seeing out a one nil win then, we were so open so often and couldn't clear our lines when under pressure in the box.

A win is a win and we will get better, but I hope we catch Arsenal on a dodgy day for them.

Evening darlings!
Oh dear. A very lucky 'get out of jail' performance again today.
Not quite as as bad as Stoke but still terrible.
Joe Hart MOTM says it all really.
Yet again no clean sheet.
Audrey Roberts did nothing but make two like for like substitutions
thay me or you could have made.
The defence constantly getting caught flat flooted with simple through balls.
A win is a win. Three points is three points.
But Pep has a job and a half on his hands when he arrives next June.
Roll on next June...

Sooner Mangala is dropped or sold the better as he's just not good enough. So close to costing us another 2 points today and for me has been our biggest under performer all season. I'm not using him as a scapegoat but the fact is for a player who is at the heart of a defence of a team who want to win the PL and a CL he's simply no way near the level we need. I was happy to give him time and hoping he would become a great partner to Kompany but Pellegrinies biggest mistake was letting Denayer go out on loan and holding onto Mangala. He simply cannot fathom hes made a mistake with him and continues to throw him in and cross his fingers.
